Well i didnt get 1380 today, but got to see new lows as expected. Looking good as we go into next week. Big question is how low, because lower we will go. Have a nice weekend.

Exactly. UJ is untouched. Thats the reason, I still hold EU long.

And any one given point, I got to exit hedging. So I prefer to exit at LON close - Assuming NY will not move below today's low.

I cannot count my hedged profit until EU hit 3481.

Final arrangement

  1. Pending long at 3399
  2. Set SL=3380 on all open longs (including @3429) - Calculated based on hedged profit.
  3. If SL hit, no profit no gain this week.
  4. Expecting EU to close above @3450

hey baconloutish, thanks but Sorry i previously suspected the EU would go back up about the 1.3500 level; however, it seemed like EU is now going on his bear course after the latest round of news last night.

If even lower. Like said before in previous post so many anticipate the short and keep at it until that bullish long hits and then what or even the plateau to bullish?

Everyone have a wonderful weekend, and please remember that market will always go against the sentiment of the masses. Imagine if the market moved upwards if 70% of the people were buying... Instead of using terms like "stop hunt" why don't we follow what the minority is doing. It appears to work much better then following the herd.

Just some thoughts before weekend is here and get ready for a new trading week next week...

So I kept telling and have been telling traders that he must have stop during trading; However, more than 90% the time, I was ignored.

Below is an example I pulled from one of the LIVE fellow traders here (i have his system name removed of course). More than 30 days worth of consistent gain got eaten away due to no stop and poor trade management in the past two days or so.

I too have suffered large drawdown due to no stop protection in earlier trading years, but now every stop order I have is well and carefully calculated and placed.

Just remember, painful lesson doesn't need to be learned over and over and over again and again. And this lesson is learn again today.

I would like to thank this person and his chart above to give us this opportunity to learn and moving forward.
I hope he is or will be fine.

My issues with Stops is misplacement. Even though I can be on the correct path Long/Short the issue is I may misplace a Stop 10-15 pips to short which is horrible so I still need work.

Hi FF traders. been away from trading for almost a month.

reflecting on some of my bad trade decisions.

my mind was too occupied with my positions in red that i wanted to recover it too soon.

operating too large a position in a TF that is too small, which led to larger losses.


Been sitting a short position for 1 month now, and i think i am going to sit on this short position it until it sees 1.3380.

i'll probably set a S/L this week-end too .. But its hard to accept you're wrong .. Especially when all the hard work you've done in one month is gone in three trade !!!
