When people start thinking about unloading there longs to go short.. makes me think.. is that the time when the market would flip so the same people would be stuck with opposite orders most of the time?... hmm...

Yep, next week might be bullish, wouldn't be the first friday and its week's bottom to turn the short term trend.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

I didn't really ask this but I want your option about trades I have been following for the past month. If you've been trading for over a year I would like to hear your sincere opinion. I am very cautious and didn't use much of the leverage besides one trade. Please let me know, FX Trades

Thanks a lot Maxdoom for reply me back. Now I started getting more worried, if that number goes that down .... Don't know how can I save my account. There are too many longs and all are from 36... The reason I am taking new trade and closing cause I do not understand what could be the next stop, I ... and every time hoping that market will go up where clearly I am wrong....

That's one of the biggest issues for a trader to face, isn't it?
It involves all sorts of issues: timeframe, method, state of mind... etc.

If entered long and it went against me, was I long right at the old resistence? it goes up 20+ pips... 30+ pips?
To me if it was EU, Cloggie taught me yeeeeaaaars ago that EU moved in beats of 20 and 40 pips on average. So even on a daily ATR of 100-120, you would have 5 chances to pick up some wave of some kind.

No point reversing a losing position at 3pm expecting a 60 pip move to recover your drawdown, right?
At the same time.... if you were down 60 pips.... at what point did you know you were wrong? 10,20,30?

Hope this poses good questions for newbies. We've all been there.
A pip is only worth it if you know how much you risked to earn it

But maybe 85% long means, this could drop more... haha

Next week most likely be a shakeout.. flat if this is to go up.. where the longs will close there trades and go short while the big money load up on longs without anyone detecting anything. So in 2 weeks its possible to see a good bull run IF we have consolidation next week. Don't go long like me until you see this I always tend to be too early for the party.. haha wait.. where is everybody.. haha

Very true - Money management is critical in forex.

Closed hedging. If required will open @3461.

To be honest .. .The Best part is too accept the loss now rather than later.
I just got a margin call this week ... Loss $11.5K .. for refusing to set Stop Loss...
Didn't think EA would drop 230 pips ...
After the margin call in 1.5 day ... I gained back $5K ....
We all have to get over with our loss and accepted it ...
The market might reverse in your favor .. but when?
How much is the reverse? I, sometime try to answer those questions too.

In order to survive in this market, you need to accept loss.
Set a % you're comfortable with, I'm so mad at myself for winning for whole month.
And lost it all because of one stupid trade and refusing to take a loss.

I hope this will help you from my experiences.

I don't know if avg loss is a good idea (I got killed badly by it)

But by the look at it .. it will continue downtrend ...
Look at $A it suppose to be very strong ...All positive data...
But it drop about 60 pips from last high

Euro might follow and hit harder downtrend.

Maybe I should start thinking to short UJ .... Look at how strong USD get ...
And UJ not moving up much ...

Think several here are doing he same mistake as me going for the small pips than looking at the trend which is down. It may take some time but it wil go down.

Everyday I recive a tecnical advice and a fudamental advice from my bank. Looking backwards we can se on the technical EUR/USD it is in and out again on the stoplosses. Not easy to earn any money on that.

However on the fudamenting advises it has been much more correct looking for the trend and economic situation. It can take some time but it is always right in the end.

From my bank today:
With such a backdrop, I can not see a different outcome than the weaker EURUSD ahead. If we get a break of 1.3450 will we be able to approach the 1.31 level during weeks and then 1.28. It may however be that the market wants to hear about rate hikes from Yellen & Co. prior to movement, but I am confident that it will.
