Well, I'm not talking about just today… I think this pair can move a few hundred pips to the upside from here in coming week or two...

EUR/USD looks to be supported down at this 1.35 range and can probably go back to 1.37….

USD/JPY seems to be supported down here at 101 level…… so both of those factors could mean a really nice move up for EUR/JPY

Another Symmetrical triangle breakdown (below 136.80) can cause the pair to liquidate additional 60 pips towards 136.20. Upside resistance of 137.15, 137.25 and 137.55 can cap the near term up-move of the pair.

No offense or anything but these posts are always super obvious.

It's like saying oh if this pair goes up, then it'll probably go up another 20-50 pips, etc. Any buffoon can figure out support/resistance levels and know these things.

Don't mean to offend it's just super obvious and doesn't really give anyone an edge.

Expecting EUR/USD to make one more attempt lower below 1.35 but think it will bottom there, and I think USD/JPY is well supported at this 101-101.40 area… so the next dip on EUR/JPY should be a good opportunity in that situation.


Don't think people watch the pairs enough when trading these crosses…. if you're trading EUR/JPY and not paying any attention to EUR/USD you're making a big mistake.

USD/JPY and EUR/USD matter equally for EUR/JPY


At time of writing USD/JPY is +0.13% and EUR/USD is -0.26% so in turn EUR.JPY IS -0.13% … it's simple math.

For me this pair still looking bearish, and Ck87 is right to pay close attention to eur/usd.

I've been short from 137.15 this week and I don't see any signs of a reversal.

Don't advise picking tops and bottoms - especially in a strong trend. Just go with the trend direction and short the pullbacks - much less stressful and much more profitable.

Something is seriously wrong with USD/JPY… with the US mkt making new highs and nikkei been doing pretty well and USD/JPY just sits there and fails to make any meaningful rallies… almost seems inevitable it's gonna take a hard sell off sooner or later.

Disaster that I'm long EUR/JPY should just be sticking with EUR/USD.. yen trade too crowded.
