IMHO he can take the trade as long as his TP isn't too far away. Waiting for 1440 to "align" (i.e. become blue), while it may be the rules recommendation, may actually - in this instance - cause him to "miss the train" so to speak.

Also, while at the subject, Nihilist I have a question:

Can I add my own "twist" to your NHG system and post the trades I take here also? OR

Ooops, I guess I was posting my question when you posted this...

BUT...with all due respect, don't you think MOST of Moonie's Indies were gotten from NHG as it is? Plus he ALSO mentioned that he took a "RISKY" trade.

I wonder what is so confusing about that?

As it is, this thread already offers TWO complementing trading systems (NFI & NHG) - so it's to be expected that some folks WILL try and merge both to further fine tune their own style of trading.

Finally, like you said - it's his risk ain't it?

Please am ONLY trying to understand further.

Just an addendum:

Going LONG on GA whether on the H4 or on the M30 is plain WRONG based on the NHG - so please DON'T get me wrong.

Agreed. IF price has broken all MAs. But in case you didn't notice, Price was still ABOVE the 60ma in the entry candle marked!
Also not supported by CSM readings at the moment.

Yes, my mistake, I did not notice that on the posted chart, besides on my chart there was a clean break of all MAs due to different broker timing.

we are now running on developing mode, a related twisting may help us.
but I request not to use any unnecessary indicator.

Nihilist. What were the MA's you were using again before you changed to kjun sen? 21, 60 and 89sma's?

Yes sir - I agree.

ALL I have added as a "twist", are:

- 5EMA shift 3, (yellow)
- Sweetspots
- and I only use: the NHG Indie, Nihilist's Ultra+Filter1 & 2.

That's it.

IMO, with this, my screen is even LESS cluttered.

I may be wrong, but I do believe this is strictly a trend following system? What is the definition of 'trend' with respect to this system? MAs, Kiju sen? The Holy Grail indicator? CSM readings? What about contradicting readings? Are we encouraged to take 'risky' trades? Are we encouraged to take only 'proper' grade A trades?. What is a 'proper grade A trade?. This thread is developing logically to the point where these things need to be well articulated. There are going to be many differing interpretations and opinions. It would be nice if the consensus could be well laid out to avoid confusion. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for your post. I was learning the system and trying to develop strategies but found that Nihilist's method is simple and good enough.

I am just trying to keep the thread clean. How will it look if everyone if posting there version of the system with many other indicators in here? Ask Nihilist if you want to post your own system / indicators on here please. Thanks for understanding my friend.
