In my view; this is only correcting (retracing)...

The trend is well in tact as long as we make higher highs and higher lows from now on...

I would not worry until price crosses and closes below 1.06900.

thats for the insight, thats what im hoping as well. I bought kinda near the top and i got a little paranoid when it got through the 23.6fib

Don't worry

After 106.9 we have 1.06750-00 at 61.8 fib level... which also happens to be the last top on the hourly (last line of defence)!

You are good until then!

But i am gunning on 1.06900 to hold as it should mark the start of wave 3...

Fundamentals are awful
on Wednesday is Bank Of Canada which will probably try to crush dollar

And fearless Canadian dollar is the best performing currency today

Sold usdcad 10 pip stop, 20 pip take profit. Price already disrespected the first attempt to come down on h1, and took out stops with that last push up, I think it comes down now.

No change in the rates and possible dovish report followed by dovish press conference ? All depends on the markets view of what's more important for investors atm, as the inlfation data was strone in last months but housing marker and expecially employment situation looks quite poor and it's not moving in the right direction.

200-day EMA on the daily chart near 1.0780 is likely to cap the up-move of USDCAD, breaking which it can rally towards 1.0835 – 1.0845 region before testing important resistance zone of 1.0915 – 1.0920, coinciding 50% Fibo Level. Alternatively, resistance turned support of 76.4% Fibo level near 1.0730 -25 region can become immediate rest for the pair.
