Hi Seller9 I did ask MT4 coder to go for 646 , He said 670 will be use all over now on , Terrible , they changing to much , Can u try do ur best to code it without bugs and no more bugs for good , Just try .

I'm also facing the same problem. All my MT4 Build 646 cannot refresh and history data stop updating since last week Friday until now.
Either Live of Offline chart, both same problem. I checked and I think this problem related to broker's server error or purposely forced us to use MT4 Build 670 and stop MT4 Build 646 to update..
Now I don't know how to trade because data are not updated. I have to be very careful too because every pair are not updated in all time frame. Let say
EURUSD pair seem up-to-date at TF H1 but at TF M30, no data were updated few days ago. If I make an entry at EURUSD at TF M30....my money sure gone with the win blow to broker's pocket.

yes it very serious problem, please stop live trading until this issue fixed by MT4 or brokers.

frankly, i am very upset with MT4 since 6-8 months, i am looking for alternative to MT4 or bridge to MT4. i am testing Zoroo and Protrader platforms.

Yes, unfortunately not many brokers offer Protrader as an alternative and while Zoroo looks interesting from from a techie view point, im not sure how practical it is for everyday use.

I have read somewhere where Metatrader are only guaranteeing that ea,s/indicators compiled under the old 509 version era will work only for the next 12 months. Sorry, cant find the link but anyways might just be ill informed gossip.

indeed...this is very serious problem. I can't trade since last week.

MT4 at dangerous state to trade safely. Both offline and live trading chart giving problem.

I can't fix bugs that are in the MT4 platform, only the EA, and that doesn't have any bugs, it conforms to the rules and compiles with no errors.

Every time they come out with a new build they screw up what worked and they need to go back and fix the new bugs.

Sold #C5# basket at 14:33 GMT.
Manual trade on 15 minute chart.
Initial stop loss = 35 pips above entry price.
Comments: HAS and I_XO color change in agreement at time of trade. Waited for retrace before entering.

Edit:
Trade closed at 14:51 GMT
Time in trade: 18 minutes
Gross P/L = +103 pips
Manual trade closure.
Comments: Profit target achieved.

I don't know of a way to download 646 as it is an older version, but you could try asking at http://www.metaquotes.net/en/metatrader4.

If recompiling doesn't work and the EA provider won't update it the alternative would be to contact FXCM Programming Services to create an EA from scratch that does the same thing. Do you want the instructions for recompiling or the Programming Services link?

After this chat , I realized that something was wrong with even my 646 Build. just seemed to not be getting accurate information from trend. I don't know what the answer to this is.

As I said before, it is a MT4 problem and not an EA problem.

The Broker always says it is not their problem, that's nothing new.

Hi to all!, i dont understand what is the problem with ea?
its have a bug mt4, but ea stell work..i trading with replaced shortcuts and its working fine, problem its just vizualy

I have with great interest observed how you trade this market using PA and other "relevant" trading tools, however, if you would kindly forgive me, I am wont to say that you have been more cryptic in the way your present your information to this thread - just my observations.

If you look at the way that Roger7777 and others have so far been contributing to this thread and the way seller9 has been more than helpful - words will fail me to express it properly - if you are to be honest to yourself, it is obvious your are not giving your "possible best" as a way of help to this thread - just my 2 cents again.

You've got the stuff in you as I believe that you have some professional financial training, however that ain't the case for the majority of aspiring traders here in this thread, you can really help us with your knowledge to make our trading lives better. I am not saying you spoonfeed us, but just be a bit more detailed in your explanation like seller9 has been throughout this and all his other threads.

Just put yourself in seller9's shoes and imagine what this thread would have been if you had been contributing the way you have so been doing - What Would Jesus Do, Sam?

Just my 2 cents and I sincerely didn't mean to hurt no one's feeling. Just that at times we need to be frank and say the truth. I know I have not been contributing much to this thread as I have had to take the time to read from the beginning to the last page before deciding to drop this line because I feel so optimistic that if you can be more open and descriptive about your idea that this thread would have more power and the aspiring traders would be eternally grateful to you.

Following on with my earlier post I would sincerely appreciate if you can kindly direct us as to where to get info regarding the recommendation you made in Post #4,263 concerning a 5-day JPY Cross Chart lookup. Would appreciate being able to view what you have there on that post.

Also, with reference to your post in Post #4,256 where can we get such "free" or "paid" reliable and up to date info.

I still indulge your forgiveness if I have hurt your feelings as I know you mean well for this thread but really just hoping you could do a little more of the "pay it forward" stuff here to help financially ailing hearts around this thread.

I never made an update since 649 and everything works. I dont know if you can just paste my program files over yours.
