Technically we are in 3630 and 3480 range. 3630 breach is most likely no longer range, same for 3480.

my range is determined by the weekly bar starting the 1/6/14

when viewing technicality it is important to look at the all picture, not just the PB but also at the trend that anticipate that PB.......look at the 3 bearish candles before the doji, they mean business....you do not want underestimate that.....from there the price went into range, 3503 was quickly rejected the way down forming the doji.......

So, in my view smart bears are waiting at the top and smart bulls are waiting at the bottom.....the risk reward is excellent.......I think there is a greater probability that it will break to the down side, which does not mean it will continue......could also mean that the false BO could fuel more to the upside...because of the covering and new bulls entering the market....me think

yup I prefer to sell, i think markets worldwide are close to collapsing, considering learning from 2008 I am too scared to be buying anything, agree also time frame is critical and yes many are short some very short timeframe trading, been there done that, for me was too stressful, 1 trade green weeks even months pays the bills, 2 is bonus
UC is bouncing from support exotics are over valued and swissy is trying to bounce (all higher timeframes) so for me buy and sell has merit, with eu right now, but bigger moves are bigger moves, 1 2 3 hundred pips, plenty of time to wait find out which before jumping in (wisest) however once on board its more a matter of adding or partialling, much less stress I am not wise but aggressive, it is costly positioning but long term ok

Hi there, I advise you not to go forward with polemics with Vachus or anybody else , is not constructive believe me... we are all here sharing ideas and trying to get a quick buck in that process, is enough that the big boyz are fucking us regularly let's all try to add good information so we can take a bit from their cake and at the end of the day and be a little bit happier .
As for EurUSD I also think that the current macro-economical and geopolitical situation are key factors that will push this pair lower ( remember about 50-100 pages ago I said 1.30 - 1.32 by October latest December this year ), so given those facts I'm also on the bears side and will stay here from now on after the ECB cut the rates and US labor market picking up pace + the monthly cuts from the QE3. I still ow to Vachus a full explanation about my QE1,2 & 3 theory and I promise to do it as soon as I will have a bit more time .

All the above are only an advice, so don't take it like a criticism just trying to keep things calm on this thread and create a nice core of good / decent traders.

Just got my 10 pips with a long from 95 to 05. Could not get it deeper (Broker).

Would have held it longer if we had not Yellen in front.

So better safe than sorry.

Wanted to call it here but as long as a general bashing of longers goes on I prefer to take care of my own trades.

Army of winners was my vision but what I see here is bashing without a reason.

Fair enough,

I would put three variable to reach a decision:
A) Have i taken enough profit from the move, to risk having these entries gone. ( In case price retraced all the way back to the top?! )
B) Is this profits enough to risk adding to my position, if price retraced higher? ( Risk factor)
C) Where is see the price going in the next 3 to 6 months.

* You already know i'm on the buying side, plus i'm a legendary biased person - so, this is how i would be looking at ..
** Letting profits run is great, but one of the worst side effects is people tend to treat unrealized profits as actual profits ... the invested amount of time, energy magnify depression and frustration! It could lead u to wiping out all ur profits and turn them into losses ...( the classic case of being right, and losing money)

If you answer these questions, you will know what to do
