A Stop Hunt of longs is underway. This has been in a range for a week now - excepting a previous whip n' whack on the 9th (in retrospect, to also get longs in and stop them out?) - so the breakout should be a decent move.

please could someone guide my thinking from these charts
price on h4 and h1 building below 101.60
from what i think i read , can i consider this whole number ?
and then if i can , are these likely to be in the process of building long?
just need some guidance please?

101.6 is not a whole number, the whole numbers are light blue (41,33,73 color number).
and yeah USDJPY is bullish..

USDJPY:

I will comment, but I want you to know two things first. One, I have a standing bias that I cannot seem to shake off. It is that the USD is a sleeping giant that can come awake anytime, and that JPY has been trashed far too long and can start to recover anytime, and if both happen then the price still will range, ......and therefore why even ever bother with this pair? Two, I rarely have good results with this pair myself.

Ok, so here is my comment. Obviously there was strong selling finishing with good "stop the drop" activity which did indeed stop the drop, and since then the price retraced back up a ways. But, I think that is all it is, a retrace to allow the MMs to reload shorts. On your charts the bear bars remain more dominant then the bull bars. There is not a "current" bear bar, but when another one shows up I think you will see what I mean. Please note that the Robber Bank MMs have retraced the price above the half number, where they have kept it for a good amount of time while they have been manipulating the price up and down in a range,....which is exactly what they do when building positions. We might assume (based on PVSRA) they are building short. If this is all correct, then when "news" time comes (USD releases) any push up will likely just be a Stop Hunt on the shorts of others and a confirming signal to trade this short. Time will tell.

Tough call. Trend is down. Any move up might just be to suck longs in and to Stop Hunt the shorts that came in yesterday. There is a EUR release coming up. What the MMs do with the price then might give us more to go on.
