There is a gathering of UJ sellers starting from 101.65, according to ForexLive.
No US data today so it will all be in the stock markets, which have made a promising start in Europe.
Fortunately the recent earthquake seems to be small enough and far enough offshore to be low in significance.
...except that there is bound to be another one soon.

“The BOJ is confident about the outlook for inflation,” Yoshiki Shinke, chief economist at Dai-ichi Life Research Institute, said before the decision. “Additional easing is unlikely any time soon, but the BOJ isn’t clear of risks. The rebound could be weaker than expected, pressuring the BOJ to take more action.”

I just lost $200 because I turned $50 into $200 in like 40 hours or so (maybe less?), and then I took a $200 gamble on the 101.60 3 AM EST call options, 2x.

I lost by about 2 pips.

I would have doubled my money if I had traded the 101.60 11 PM EST call option, which I ALMOST DID, but I went 4 hours later (figuring that more time is usually better), and I lost money... by 2 pips.

That is why options can be so tough.

Are they out to get me or what???

Of course, right now they push it to 101.60+.

Sometimes I feel like they are monitoring me on this forum, and watching my every move..... is that weird? lolllllll

next time transfer half of your winning money to your high risk account and play with it. do not gamble with your main account...

A rectangle describing 101.50 and 101.65 restricts the USDJPY movement at present. Break of 101.50 can make the pair test 101.30 and the upside break of 101.65 can fuel it towards 101.85. However, MACD supports the liquidation.
