Banked half now at hard BE so locked in half profits now let the rest run until 100lwma slope changes and see what I get. Proper trend trading.
Feel the Fear and do it anyway!!!

Disliked{quote} Ouch!!!! That hurt!!! But I'm not sure I'm guilty as charged. Have a look at all these entries to me they are identical as 210 CCI did drop back over -100 level each time but was returning up???If you look at the last one that lost the 7.4% without the right hand side eg as I saw it. Its identical to the other 3 just didn't work out. Only thing I will say is it was at full ATR and after 2/3 good entries enough is enough should of stopped but other than that the set up was the same wasn't it???? Mind you have got some thoughts on it...Ignored
DislikedIts a funny thing but I originally came up with the idea of trading the 1 minute charts at market opens for one reason only , to capture the London and New York breakout trades. I figured that when the money came to the table we should see it in the steepness of the 100lwma, the usual thing whichever pairs100lwma is sloping the most is where the moneys going??? Well I kinda forgot all about that with launching this thread and other 1 minute threads etc but tonight I thought, lets have a look see if we can identify a good time of day to see who is...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Good morning sir, how the devil are you?? Yep good thinking but to be honest I'm fairly happy that the 100lwma is quick enough on the 1 min TT , it switches to and fro between pairs as it is, so not too keen to shorten the 1 min LWMA. As for the 5 min TT side I don't wait for that to set up as that is too slow and almost gaurantees you miss the first trade opportunity. I think the 1 min settings are fine but we need to assess very quickly whether we have a tradable setup once we pull the top trenders charts up, that for me is the issue right...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Don't have to over complicate this, do we? First 3 trades of the US session work, the 4th trade (that is rapidly closing in on possible London close reversal period) fails?Ignored
Disliked{quote} i'm not sure how you'll ever be profitable if you don't stop chasing everything that tickles your fancy. do thorough backtests--not just daily retrofitting your strategy to something that would have produced that day--decide on rules and stick to them.Ignored

Disliked{quote} But much more important than this is the W pivot W M2 at what has been a proven bounce point this week. Easily missed just trading from 1 min charts. {image} {image}Ignored
DislikedA word on the poem that your father gave you......It was written by a man named Walter D. Wintle in the early 1900's. Your Dad showed great understanding in giving it to you when you ran into hard times. The name of the poem is "Thinking" but it is perhaps better known by it's fist line. Sorry to be off topic a bit.Ignored
