I live in Japan. There is no major news about earthquake as far as I know.
So I think not likely to have much impact, too....

EurJpy on weekly has a flat bottom and lowering tops.
Technicals suggests a break to the downside.
Also on the weekly is a Bollinger Band Squeeze. Looking at higher timeframes( Monthly) the weight of the evidence is towards the downside.

The Monthly charts supports the break downwards as the market has topped out. The monthly RSI ( Settings 7) is making lower highs suggesting a pullback.
A break below 136.20 on the monthly will confirm the move downwards.

Weekly price accumulation at around 137.666 is bound to break.
About eight weekly candles have now tested this area. It will give way soon for a move to the downside.

Strategy:

As soon as EURJPY breaks the level as stated above and price starts walking the lower Bollinger Bands on the weekly one can start looking for pullbacks on the daily and 4hourly to add to your short position.

Will exit all shots at plus minus 38% retracement on the monthly of the entire up move and keep one lot open until the trend reverse.

Back to testing the 138.40 area. If it breaks above then retest of 138.75. Still holding longs.

EURJPY likely to reverse from 138.45-50, following the symmetrical triangle pattern with downside support of 138. A break of 138.50 can fuel the pair towards 138.85 and 139 levels while a sustained trading below 138 can give support to 137.70 levels.

The dollar traded higher against almost all G10 counterparts during European morning Tuesday. Appreciated against the AUD, NOK, EUR, CHF, JPY, CAD and SEK, respectively. Only depreciated against the GBP, while it remained virtually unchanged against the JPY.
