DislikedCompression form PAZ and price is in compression almost 80% of the time. If once price enters a compression PAZ, and it must go to other side of that PAZ after a retrace sooner rather than later, It is sometime scary simple, makes me wonder if I am missing something???? Trading from one edge of PAZ and target the other... I have been seeing these setups everywhere... Below is one of the few charts I have prepared for next week. My question is about how do we tell if an engulf fails? or how to differentiate an engulf from a fakeout? the attached chart (USDCAD, 2004, Apr) shows an engulf of a FTR, implying bearish move in future, but on the opposite, the price turned and went up all the way and ...... gone. The engulf might be taken as a FO, although the move is not fast. If i insist on shorting, i'd suffered from 2~3 losses....... What's your insights in this case? Thanks in advance! {image}Ignored

Dislikedhere chanya this is how I see cp making lower lows returning to take supply or making higher highs returning to take demand nice deep retraces are more attractive to me there are some that are questionable but practice and take note of the ones that work and ones that don't I am still studying qm but have fell in love with the flag ftr and am having a blast studying these. so I have no knowledge to share on your qm sorry. {image}Ignored
