I think 1.0750 can become a reversal point.

we have a massive bullish divergence on h4 chart..confirmed with the h4 breakout @1.0665..so go long by now...

Hi AmerTrini, it's hard to say if it is correct or not. While it is 50% probable that it will retrace to 61.82% level and bounce off in advance, or else go further down to complete the final leg wave [v]. However, the long term trend is up. Here's the update chart:

this is real turtle trading..but literally, u/cad is moving like a turtle. it reminds me of eur/gbp, even robert johnson's blues will fill you with more adrenaline .
anyway, either this is consolidation before breaking 1.07 or bulls just cannot break it. I'm loaded with longs so..go bulls.

Even after improved Housing Starts' number, CAD seems reversing its strength. The pair can re-test resistance turned support near 1.0660.

Price has just bounced off 61.8 retracement level of 1.06196 (low) and 1.06923 (high)

There is good volume here...and this might just be the end of wave 2 (zig zag) and hence the start of wave 3...

Picture will be clearer after FOMC

CAD is strong today.
And strong overall in face of neutral fundamentals at best
Oil is down and Cad is UP. July inflation will drop like a stone. But it's month a half in the future

Can try to drop below 1.063 if FOMC is not hawkish

If employment report is good can go another 100 pips down

Still waiting for Poloz.
For me it looks like someone with deep pockets pushing down just to get quick several hundreds pips on the way up after Poloz will say no inflation and economy is weak

USCAD seems unresponsive to any good or supportive US data and news..Oil is down and Canada has not released any strong data ??

Following a re-test of ascending trend line, stretched from September 2012, the USDCAD seems again reversing towards 1.0690 - 1.0700 resistance, breaking which it can rally towards 1.0730 (76.4% Fibo Level) and 1.0785 (200-day EMA). However, a sustained trading below the trend line support of 1.0640 can make the pair vulnerable to test December 2013 lows near 1.0560.

Was watching this sucker about a month ago until i went out of town. Oh well, on to the next one.

On it's final leg wave [v] down to a probable target of [v] = [i] @ 1.0592.

I continue to see the same chart again and again and the USDCAD couldn't break 1.0600 levels. On the sustained break the pair can plunge to 1.0560 and 1.0450, but i guess i have to wait longer than i thought.

I think we have bottomed out in accordance with your ab=cd...

For a longer view on the weekly chart I see this point as the end of of the 4th corrective wave.. and now the 5th wave should start...
