That makes a lot more sense it links to the TDI with the 2nd candle confirmation. Does this work on all the time frames. I usually only trade G/U and E/U on H4.

Its ts many things like this which I don't think were covered in the bigE full pdf. That makes abit more sence. Having APB on PC makes it easier as on my mobile it's always diff candles as they Japense candles. Cannot use the PC at work for trading because cannot download any programs to it

Ok so as they are 2 hours ahead of you, their h4 candle will open at midnight their time, which is 10pm UK time, so 10pm, 2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm your time is when they will open.

Looking at the GBP/USD short trade on the daily TF you mentioned, i would have not taken it because of the overall uptrend. I would only look for trades in the direction of the overall trend. Look at the red line that goes with the trend, it will help you see it. Notice there are more blue candles than red candles overall. The vertical red lines show very good entry points where it follows the rules and is in the direction of the trend. You could look at the daily to get an idea of the direction of price and then zoom into the 4H or 1H TF and take trades accordingly based on the rules and in the direction of the overall daily trend.

Thanks I thought that was the case but wanted to clear it up. So for daily it's would be 10pm every night? and weekly candles Sunday 10pm or Monday 10pm.

so if I was to make a H4 trade it has to be dot on the hour mark it opens otherwise the trade would go on when the candle closes right? I think I have been making that mistake I wait till the candle confirms it's body size then buy/sell.

That is what is confusing me looking at the charts, I don't have price reaching anywhere near that today, the highest price mine reached today was 1.7146 + spread what time did you stop out?

Sorry the trade was taken 11.30 broker time and stopped out at 00.06

Yes, any time-frame, although I trade a shorter timeframe than most on here, but yes, any timeframe. The thing about APB candles is that you can see these pullbacks at a glance. Red then green then red starting again, although I do have a regular a Japanese candles profile I sometimes switch to briefly to see how things are looking as you can see the pinbars/reversal candles clearer on those.

Yes, this is why I have the HA, but set it so the bars can be seen on top of the HA candles. Then you get an idea of what the HA is doing, but also have the ability to look a little closer and see what the actual price bar did -

Lets make this a bit easier all round shall we Go to your alpari terminal, click on the account history tab at the bottom, pull up the daily chart, then drag the trade to the chart, it will then show us the entry and exit points, then post it as a pic here if you can. That way we can see exactly where you entered because I still can't see why you would have stopped out.

Just a quick question. Let's say 2 blue candles break our diagonal line and start going up we would buy this? As long as stoch and TDI agree with a cross over or does a crossover not matter in the case?

Same as for the red candles beat the diagonal line of the blue candles and go down on 2nd candle you would go short? (If there is a crossover)

What about if the candles break the line but there is no cross over or TDI not agree does that happen or is there always a indication on it

If you go back a page to the great example that jmflukeiii posted (post 39609) you'll see that when the price bar changed colour and broke the diagonal line there was a TDI crossover in both cases where he drew a diagonal line. In most cases there will be a TDI crossover, in fact there almost has to be. But to answer your question, 'yes' in the event of there not being a crossover at the same time I personally would still take the trade as it's pure price action..

Alpari uk is gmt+2. If you want to trade H4 according to TMS, then your first trade will be 8am as shown on the platform which is actually 6am(uk), 2nd trade 12pm (10am uk) and close all trades by 4pm (2pm uk).

I don't really understand what this means. Perhaps you could explain it?

I don't really understand the whole "gmt +2 or +3 " and how this equals 6am and 10am uk time. And then how this shows the open of a candle for trading TMS

If someone could explain this simply that would be very helpful!
