Yep, something between 1.3717-1.3745 or 1.3745-1.3572, according to my levels previously posted.

why you don't use fib tool other way around to see retracement correctly? You are expecting %61.8 retracement but your fib tool indicates %38.2

I told you it would retrace down. Retrace means retrace. When retraced, then go further.

Of course, I may be wrong. It can even go to 1.3630... but then up to 1.3717 at least.

Everybody thinks that's the right way.

What if it isn't? I'm not the only one using it like so. Others way better than me proved it right and better to see more things and avoid seeing useless things.

But yes, it would be a 61.8% retracement.

Which can also be described as a "retracement to the 38.2% of that move".

We might have a long scalp opportunity coming as price reached 61.8 Weekly Retracement and is currently sitting at Weekly support 1, all we need now is a candlestick pattern on the 1 hour. When this move is finished we can join the downside for more. You can target 1.0729 as probable resistance or 1.0757 Monthly pivot (Untested) + 50% Resistance.
I will get more details later.

I agree, and the Dutch at five to one to win the cup, still seems like some nice action. Belgium is at 12 to 1 now. I took them from the onset, so I can place some action on Argentina now to pay for my initial outlay. Anyway, some good games ahead.

you are right and you are wrong

you are right because the numbers add up to the same position for you! but the way you are using it is incorrect.

If you walk 1 mile from A to B then to retrace your steps you go from B to A if you walk 25% back you have retraced only 1/4 of a mile not 3/4 of a mile...... once you reach 100% then you have retraced a mile. Retrace means go over again so if 100% is the end point it is logical that 0% is the beginning of the retrace.

but hey, if it works for you, the way you do it, then so what!! the only issue is when you mention a retrace % to others as they won't know what you are talking about
