Here is the heat map for the short trades. I see much higher downside potential. The target @1.3657 should be reachable.

I dig your charts, quik question tho, and I hope not to bruise anyone's ego here, what is the % of times your heat map is wrong/right?

P.S. - I am holding a long since 1.3610

Hi JustAndy,

It's not a holy grail by any means.. (at least I don't think.. it could be though.. haha). I sometimes go against it's predictions but it has proven me wrong. I have been using it for about 3 months so I don't have extensive forward testing results. But I have done a good number of back testing. The way I read it is by getting it's bias from M30, H1 and H4. Then I look at the heat map for the correlated pairs. If they all point in the same direction (by all meaning about 70% of them, M30, H1, H4 of all 4 correlated pairs) then I take that as a valid prediction. That way I reduce the error that it produces. Sometimes I get 100% in one direction and those have been the ones with almost certain outcomes. So based on what I have seen, what I have made is good enough for me I also don't trade purely on the heat map, I trade my system based on WPR, CCI, Pivots, Market Profile and OBV. I have a dual approach to my trading, technical + prediction. They both have to match for it to be a solid entry.

So based on technical + heat map = it's looking like a short but technical haven't established a strong signal yet with confirmation. Take my heat map as "Where I think its going". Where it's going is the technical part. When where I think its going = where it's going, then its a go for the trade.

By the way, the H1 heat map is only good for about 24hours. H4 bias is a strong bull still. But every bull gets tired, so the bears will beat it up for a bit

From my limited experience and this week's economic calendar I can tell it's going to be a wild one and that of course the price is going to carp all over economic news and ECB/FOMC decisions and act irracional.

I never find any bank prediction to be of any significance.

We get better chance by using a random number generator and a suitable range in Excel.

I really think EUR/USD 1.32 and GBP/USD 1.61 are tail events in the real model used by their desk traders, otherwise they will bankrupt themselves in a few months.

With their massive equity I suppose they are banking US recovery hence not minding DD which could be staggering
I am convinced good retail trader can smoke these guys in real live trading.
I am also in frame of mind that in general retail traders are good what they do considering limitation of equity.
Given decent retail trader 50k account I bet he/she can generate 40%+ annual minimal.
We should pat on our shoulders.What kills most retail trader is not skill but equity size.By having small account one is tempted to over trade to get ahead.
2k average mini account even at 50% gain a year is only 1k hence I can see why folks at this predicament would push harder and fall into pitfalls of over trading.
