This good EA usually worked well on different currencies in different windows. Never put 2 EAs on the same windows. I always used UJ and GU on different windows particularly on NFP. But this afternoon on NFP all pending orders (UJ and GU) were cancelled by the EA because STWAN expired without significant move on price.
On AUD GDP q/q this Amazing EA made a good profit, Close position = TP at the top of spike (perfect!!). This is for the first time my guess of TP is correct (30 pip).

yes I put 2 EA on different currencies in different windows. But only one worked. It was Oanda demo.

Hi Guys

From reading the posts from the last month or so, I can see some new users struggling with a couple of things.

1) MaxSpread. Your pending orders will be deleted if the spread exceeds this level set in points. So if you are OK with 15 pips spread set it to 150 on a 5 digit account. The orders are replaced after 5 seconds if the spread comes down and it is still before news time but that hardly ever happens ! Most new users don't know how much the spread can go up. I would suggest settin the chart to show the Ask line as well as Bid (in Chart properties) and search this thread for info about the Spread and Sessions indicator which records a file with prices and spreads in it. Using it you can also check whether the ticks froze.

2) PointsGap. The orders are created far away from current price and moved into position at SecBAO seconds before News Time. There are 3 reasons for this.
a) With the old EA, the time that orders are being created is when the EA is most vulnerable because the MT4 servers are usually busy and running slow so price can move suddenly and activate one of the trades. b) Just prior to news to protect against sudden price spikes. c) Also, sometimes MT4 servers freeze (price ticks stop which freezes the EA) just prior to news and in this case hopefully the trade is left far away from current price. That is why you should set the SecBAO to 10 seconds or less but 5 is probably fine.

And by the way, drBBMM is definitely using a Live account.....

GDP NZD on 19-6-2014 didn't move much but ths good EA gave small profit = BEOffset pip.

Retail Sales GBP did'n move much, profit = BEOffset pip
Retail sales CAD/ CPI CAD gave good profit = 20 pip

this is really very helpful EA but I think it could be much better with FFCal indicator included. Is here somebody able to code it? It's very time consuming to constantly monitor the news time and adjust settings of EA for each news when there is FFCal to do it for you.

I were looking at this FFCal indi but the version is old, will it work with build 611 ?

It works for me in newest version of MT4 without problems. I use version which is in attachment.

Sometimes my broker time differs 5 to 15 secs with timessync tool, so I use local time and sync my PC time with free timessync tool http://www.timesynctool.com/

If you like that kind of straddle EA that trades on every news event , you can use free CNT EA by Henry Liu.
I 've tried CNT EA but I prefer this Amazing EA because the feature is more complete and I can choose which pair on the event is more likely to give profit.

AUD Cash rate this morning 1-7-'14 gave a not bad result.

Hi bigsambsc, I appreciate the question because I accidentally deleted the explanation out of the ReadMe Instructions file. To be honest I took this function out then re-instated it later and forgot the explanation. So here goes with what used to be in the file:-

SlipCheck - Whether to perform Stop Loss Reset and Slippage Check
If you set SlipCheck to true, the EA will check for Slippage and reset Stop Losses and Take Profit levels. If you set it to false, the EA will behave more like the original (around v1.2.2) and only run the Break Even and Trailing Stop routines, not the Slippage Check or Stop Loss Reset routines.

MaxSlippage - The maximum slippage in points you wish to allow for your orders.
Unfortunately, this value cannot prevent orders going live and being slipped in the first place. But if the slippage on an 'opened' order exceeds the value set here, the trade will have it's stop loss set to the minimum distance allowed by the broker. If the trade goes against you, it will be closed quickly. If it doesn't, then there is a chance to recoup some losses.
This parameter requires Take Profit to be set. If you don't want to use Take Profit, then set TP to a very high value.

The reason I took these out is they take a little while to work so depending on how fast your broker is, they may not help. I also had this idea that if you are suffering bad slippage, then nothing will save you !

I would like to ask if I use the EA on the same MT4, same news event, but different pairs, would it work? For example NFP, expert on E/U, A/U, G/U and if E/U makes a huge gap and misses my stop-order but A/U succeeds to go without the gap, would it have a Magic Number problem or something that would cause bad interference between the different charts? I read somewhere in the thread that somebody has used it on 2 charts and only one got executed trades on.
Hi Ksofty, yes, I use it as you wrote. Same news, for example NFP, and EA listen at the same time on EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD etc. It works for me. Today I made by this system more than 60 pips..
Yeah I did the same too. But something very strange happened - 50-60 pips move on aussie in 4am (gmt+2) and it was just some speech. The news 30min later got me only 1-2 pips profit. Are these speeches really so important that the market moved so much in less than a minute?

AmazingEA will work better on speeches.....The issue here is that the big banks (liquidity providers) have very fast news feeds and software that will interpret the figures quickly and can change their quotes almost instantaneously. Which results in slippage on stop orders. Speeches on the other hand need to be interpreted by a human (or maybe a computer) but it still takes longer so instead of price gapping you get a more gradual move. With the result you get minimal slippage.

Another thing to remember though is to only trade speeches where the text is released at the start. For example, I would never trade Draghi's press conference, it's just too wild !Try it on demo and you'll see what I mean......
