Is USOIL volatile?How are the spreads? Do you find M5 a good timeframe to trade as opposed to the higher timeframes?

I trade all pairs incl oil and gold as long as they meet my trading plan. Oh yes, spreads are not so humble for gold and oil :-(. but i m happy to share part of my pips with my broker. .Still hunting for a better spread broker. Do u trade oil too? if you have better spreads, pls share. BTW, thank u for liking my chart :-). I m done for today.

forgot to mention about my TF: i look at H1, H4 for currencies and gold, and M5, M15 for oil (scalping). hardly hold positions overnight. best TMS signals are the one bounced off those white bands (S/R).

Excellent thanx for sharing likica. I don't trade Gold or Oil .

I'm not sure if its against rules mentioning Brokers... if it is I'll take this post down... and I'm not affiliated with any Broker. Prospreads have decent spreads. Check them out.

Sorry for asking, but where can I get the last version the indicators?. I've been looking for them in the thread, but there are alot and i got confused.

All current indicators are on the first page in the attachments section. Click on the paperclip at the top right hand side of the page. We're using

1. TDI and/or TDI MTF
2. Synergy

Thats it.

At the beginning I downloaded those ones, but then I saw there were some others and I got confused.

As you read through the thread, you'll get more confident. Big E, who started this thread kept it very simple ... read his pdfs which are very helpful.
Some posters have their own preferred indies which they use with this system.....its all a matter of choice....

Need help on basic/newbie confirmation.

TDI indicator is set to close of a candle. Thus, when a vertical line is placed on a mt4 platform, the vertical line that overlaps onto the TDI is actually the condition of its previous closed candle, right?

For example on this picture, a vertical line is placed on the C candle, thus the line that overlaps with TDI, represents the closed candle of B rather than C's close candle, right?

If I want to know the TDI condition of A close candle, I have to place a vertical line on the B candle, right?

If everything are right, thus, when we enter a trade based on the vertical line is actually the B's closed candle a.k.a the C's open candle?

Aah, there is a difference believe it or not between the state of the tdi at the close of the previous candle and the open of the new one. If you watch the behaviour of the tdi you will see it.

Take this example of a UsdCad trade I took last month. The reason I'm showing this one is that I was watching the tdi at the time so fully remember what the tdi looked like at the open of the candle I went in on as the new candle opened. If I draw a line at the close of the previous candle there is a tiny cross, . I took the second picture when we were about 20 minutes into the candle, but price hadn't gone anywhere when I took it as you can see. If I hold the crosshairs over the chart and hover over the chart as in the first picture, the reason I took the trade at the open of the candle was because it popped up to about there when the candle opened so I took the trade.
I wasn't chasing a large candle because it hadn't moved up yet, as you can see 20 minutes into the candle it still hadn't gone anywhere but then it moved. I've watched that happen over and over again, because its most noticeable on the smaller timeframes with the mtf tdi on there, and I have watched that for what must be hundreds of hours, you will see it "pop" at the open of the candle or just after.

Very interesting , I rather suspected this happened sometimes .I think I recall Big E saying if green was just showing through red he would take the trade (everything else being OK , of course )

This is another example, I can't take credit for this one because someone else was trading my account at the time because I wasn't able to, but the reason the trade was taken was explained to me by them. If you look at the close of the previous bar there was barely a cross yet, so it would look like price suddenly moved and then they went in, but if you look at the m1 view of the trade they took it well before price started to move solely because the h4 tdi dropped down suddenly with a big step (they were looking at m15 at the time with h4 mtf tdi on there) so they went in that was just over 4 minutes before price actually moved anywhere.

I prefer H4 , don't trust H1 too much ,so went for modest target , but had gone through 12 h4 charts at 5am and 9am , found nothing ,
hoping I may be able to convert this trade to a H4 , so watching now.
