I see that move as technical and tripping of stops, nothing else.

Fed telegraphing early rate hikes.

Charles Plosser, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, said Tuesday he was not worried about inflation pressures, despite a recent uptick in consumer prices. I wont buy USDCAD until it reaches 1.070X for a long run [1.0700 barrier to remain defended with a load of bids in approach] . I didn't catch 1.0714 so I am waiting for the oppurtunity .

You have to understand though USD/JPY is risk based. Housing has nothing to do with risk at all, you are more effected by carry trader. What I'm saying is if you get a opposite signal to overall sentiment that lines up with some tech signal you find don't expect to have an edge just based on housing data for UJ.

Its 1.0740 actually..its oversold totally.

Tuesdays are usually up days for US stocks. spx and dow are down for the day. Not a good sign for the stocks.

Are you mad? But u still have no answered my question what has housing to do with US economy? "Printing money" is all you got? Am I giving a difficult question? Man get the basics right before you tried to put up a statement or counter statement.

Respect is earned. How would I give anyone respect when you put up a statement reply without using your brain, common sense or understanding the question first? Housing is printing more money in terms of contribution to US economy .

I understand your approach, and I also agreed the interest and employment is the main drive. However, I strongly believe housing is the backbone to US economy given the fact US's GDP is main in consumer and service, and housing plays a huge role in this sector. It's true Usdjpy is risk base, but it does not purely dive on the interest. Therefore, I wouldn't agree your statement above saying housing has almost nothing to do with dollar or usdjpy.

Good thing is I have no problem with disagreement as long as it's intellengent and debatable. Thanks.

btw I have been trading usdjpy for a little over 4 years now. I am saying this is not because "I think", I actually deal with it everyday.
