Fueled by the best consumer confident number and new house number since 2008, EU gave back its earlier gain and backed down below its 1.3600 before London closed.

I normally would trade against the uptrend channel, but given the facts the latest ECB rate decision while daily and weekly bear trend is still intact, I see level 1.3600 is the next breaking point where favorites the bear.

As for dollar itself, now my question is, why USDJPY is immune to the recent good data?

Because UJ doesnt move based on Housing data, could really give less of shit. UJ is risk sensitive to risk on/risk off sentiment so equity fundamental data much more important than US housing data.

The latest 2 FOMC statements stated US economy is undergoing a weak recovery from housing and retail and that was one of the a few reasons clear rate hike decision was put on pending / muddy.

In this case, a better than expected housing and consumer confident would show impact on dollar, however, today, i did not see any.

Today so far i was able to identify the small cycles. One short and one long position. Successfully closed.

My strategy once i identify the end of cycle then it is sure that market will move 10 pips in opposite direction.

If you looked at EU right before this little "pop" on the 1hr it was set to close green( which it did), but on 15m it was moving done. It looks like 1 hr trumps the lower tf. So we got our small pop upward. I would expect it to settle in now.

No news at all. Looks like simple price action. If you look at it on a bigger scale that move really isn't anything serious. We have now formed a cup with the price action from earlier. So now we should expect the handle (Accumulation) then a pull back
