Hi everyone,

sorry for "the same question" but i've read a lot in the forum and in this thread and nothing helps.

I can't install any TDI indicators or even any other indicator/template. mql4, ex.4

Downloaded Alpari deleted and now with Ava - Metatrader4

i Tried the usual copy/paste scheme to Programs/ metatrader/ Indicators folder

i Tried Metatrade Alpari/ properties/ security / all control to system and user


Nothing works....i really appreciate your help thank you.

Hope you're well.
Could someone please tell me what I should do to get TDI 1.o3 to work. I've just about tried everything..... deleted the MQL files ....I've got TMS Basic exe which I believe is what it calls.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search on forexfactory, google, youtube or mql4.com with the sentence :
'How to install indicators in MT4 build 600'

Review the most promising results and try them out.

Sorry, I do not know what the TDI 1.o3 is.
Check the 'Experts' and 'Journal' tabs in the terminal window for errors.

She means the tdi-mtf v1.03 that I have been using for the TMS system, I've tried helping with the little I know, and nothing is working.

No use beating a dead horse (or perhaps a dead indicator in this case. Come to think of it, the indicator is probably ok. It is the platform that died).

Hi,

You may want to check C:/Users/Your Account Name/AppData/Roaming/MetaQuotes/Terminal folder. (To see this folder, you first need to activate 'Show hidden folders and files' option in Explorer. If you see a folder named with numbers and alphabats (such as 4D954006F26CC87.....), remove this folder. Then your updated indicators will be automatically copied to this location again. Now start you MT4, and you see your indicators are updated. If this is the case, make a Google search with keyword "AppData/Roaming/MetaQuotes" for details. Hope it works.

Hi, Thanks for the nice tool. I've installed TDI watchdog indicator. It works fine on my live and demo accounts. Only issue Indicator is not giving any Alert (no popup, no emails). IN setting alerts are ON and indicator installed only one chart visual. Does it give signal on the TDI red & green lines crossover? or else.
What is wrong, please assist.

I do not think the author of the TDI watchdog has been here for quite some time and the indicator is not open source so there is not much that can be done if you find errors in the indicator. Go through the posts on the thread for the indicator and make sure you are using the last/latest version and have a good handle on the parameters.

Hope you are well. Have been going blind searching for a very simple tape/4TF indicator that simply indicates if the candle closed above or below a user defined moving average. Would be much obliged if you could point me in the right direction. This I wish to use with the TMS system as per BigE's candle closing above/below the 5EMA line. Thanks.

Sorry, I have not written an indicator that shows that and do not know of any that do. You'll probably have to commission one to be written.

I cannot find the post where I have uploaded it, so I attach them again.
that 2 indicators should do what you're looking for.
edit: the 2. is a moving average cross over, but the first should be the right one
