Wow how does one lose with TMS? Immediate success: trade pair with good range, money management, use TDI indicator only, take only 12-2 and 4-6pm angle crosses trades only, period M5, H1 or H4. If H1 or H4 is selected do not watch trade till end of period, last 5 minutes. Let natural close figure gains. Some need to exercise their brains more trading with various indicators. That will not work with TMS. Keep the formula KISS!! Of course this is based upon the ability of trading the London NY time.

Thanks for your reply , and i'm really happy for you that you find it so easy and making plenty of money , long may that be the case for you .
I would guess that this system must suit you very well as it did for Big E , and I do try to follow the system but obviously I have been going wrong somewhere
I can trade London / NY times and will do all I can to follow your good advice ,thanks again .

Well, haha, I didn't say plenty of $$. You have 9 chances for example of working TMS H1. Per pair. It would be easy to check 3 months of trading historically. You will find that each month of GU for example makes about + - 600 pips per month. H1 open to close each hour. Months can vary widely. But that's my approximate average available during London NY trading time. Real $$ profit amounts are determined by lot size. If only half those pips were obtained actually trading it's not losing.

Some good tips. Positive thinking is good. Saying TMS is an immediate success is a bit far fetch tho in my opinion. It took me over a year to do better than break even, and not by much.

To me, trading systems are like surf boards. They're there to help you ride the waves and comes in various design and ease of riding. But they require much time to master.

But above all else, you need to be able to swim. The basic. That's what I lack last year - I couldn't even take my board out to find the right wave, 5 steps into the sea and I'm drowned.

And there are other things that can only help you. Such as watching weather forecast (being aware of news, events, economics, etc), avoid day with storms (avoiding range market) and keep your eye open for sharks and crocodiles.

I have usually tried to trade H4 , so only get two chances to trade ,
my first H4 candle is currently opened at 9.00 am London time (+1 GMT )
and the next at 13.00 London time , which is then not far from the NY open ,so if the TDI cross is at the second candle , maybe that causes a problem sometimes as it often starts off Ok and then 'flips back ' giving me a loss .

Yes , your right , there are lots of Great Whites swimming around in the waters we dare to swim in , but they are disguised in suits .

I respecfully disagree totally. I would assume anyone with brains would make sure they knew some basics of Forex including the positive and negative aspects of it. I'm talking about short term trading, actually day trading. London NY time. If an individual can't see a green line crossing a red line with a steep angle with periods of M5, H1 H4 then forget it. Along with some money management. Then they aren't ready yet and may never be. This isn't brain surgery. I don't care what England or the US or any Country for that matter is doing while trading. Just follow price along with TDI will take care of all of that. My experience with the News is I gain more than lose with the H1 period. If this is about D1 trading all bets are off. You better be good. What did you do wrong for a year after Eelfranz (and others) gave the common man this opportunity.

Week 6-16-20-14 H1 GU

Last weeks trade possibilities and profit open to close each candle with a signal. Would be more chasing next cdls in many cases,.

What is so difficult about it?? Screw the position of the moon and asparagus crop. Just follow price movement and TDI. A set stop loss wherever will handle news.

Not sure I understand those entries, especially the 50 pips on 17th, I can't actually see a candle, open to close as you have said, that would have gained 50 pips.

When yu left click on a chart doesn't it expand? The 50p were for a day!! Guess I'm not cut out for this. Back to my slumber and no stress trading.

And I respectfully disagree as well. TMS is good but to say that it's the only thing you need is painting a very incorrect impression especially to newer traders.
Even Big E himself sent new traders over to babypips to learn the basics.

And to answer your question about the 1 year thing - I was doing what Big E told me to do - learning the basics. Believe me when I say even something as simple as TMS can overwhelm a newbie with only 1 month experience under his belt. I studied PA and S/R and demo trade for over 9 months before I came back to TMS. Today, no system overwhelms me anymore and I can spot S/R, channel and important level at a glance. Was that worth a whole year of time? I don't know, but being in the green (even a tiny green) is sure a huge improvement over blowing 1 account in 2 weeks I used to do.

One day I'll increase that tiny green into a wheelbarrow full of green. I trust TMS to take me there. But it will take time.

Dear God in Heaven. I started harvesting the method a day after reading a few early pages, while you are still sowing seeds for 9 months. I understand your patience now. It's battle shock! You can look at the chart I posted and say it's incorrect when indeed it is what TMS is all about. Your therapy is to look at the chart till you see green crossing red at a steep angle and then for God's sake take the trade and release the anvil on your back. Best of luck.
