yes, that's right. That's why Big E wanted us to recognize good signals. He even talked about what opportunities lie if someone could trade 24/5. That just my humble opinion.

The news service is called Ransquawk.

But they are expensive, around £100 per month.

Talking forex, for £20 per month give you the live Ransquawk package.

Just without all the analysis and stuff you dont really need.

Thanks again , I'll have a look at it and let you know if it helps keep me out of losing trades or , even better , it gets me into some good
ones . I'm hoping that some day I'll know enough to help others , this has been such a helpful site

Hi All,

I've been trading TMS for well over 3 months now, on both demo and live accounts, and to date, I've had very limited success with it. I've tried pretty much everything I can think of, including combining it with PA, trading different timeframes, trading exotics, and even trading it counter trend, which appears to be more successful, but I just can't seem to make a lot of pips with it and even worse, it losses pips just as fast as it gains them. On average, I'd say I make <15 pips per trade with it. Is it more of a hit or miss system, or I'm I not executing it properly? I'll appreciate any assistance with this.

We definitely need some charts so we can see what signals you are taking.

Thats interesting, I always go for the highest atr with the lowest spread that I can find, but as my grandmother would say, there's more than one way to skin a cat

Just thought I'd post this harmonics pattern as it may help some people .
if you can learn these patterns (which isn't difficult )
they can often give you a 'heads up ' to what may happen in the near future , and they often tie in with the TDI
They don't all work out , but that's true of most things in Forex.. I'm not an expert by any means , but think this can be worth studying [attach]1450806

Been tryingto draw the bat myself, still can't remember all the ratios. ab=cd is the best I can do right now

AUDUSD h4. -8 (daily) and +56. So lucky the spike didn't stop me out.

Kiwi news in 15 mins. Putting in a pending order for a sell and will reverse if high is taken out (.8845)

GBPCHF (1H) short and TMS fulfilled but a failed trade . Feedback appreciate.

After this reversal, I had no more confidence to short when everyone shorted right after the next 1H bearish candle (blue arrow) on other GBP equivalent pair.

There was 2 MPC news 30 minutes into that candle.

Yes, there was MPC news on the blue arrow, however, there was CPI news on the yellow candle as well. That's why I was confused

This is more of a fundamental thing and I'm still very new to this so take my word with a grain of salt.

CPI does reflect the state of inflation. That alone doesn't tell you what the bank/gov was going to do about it. Unlike MPC which tells you their stance and plan for interest rate. Bank/gov decision and interest rate are the top 2 factors for investors and they affect money flow the most.

That's why you'll see some news just nudge the price off track a bit before coming right back where it was. While a few will affect price much longer.

I'm not quite sure why you shorted all the while the candle was going up? If you had put the trade in at the open I could understand a bit better, but why after the candle had gone up around 16 pips?
