i like the way U/J performed yesterday,
a rapid breakdown means bears are much nearby.
hoping the damn range-movement could be ended as soon as possible.

Im all for this, think UJ about to have big change here to downside possibly moving through into summer.

102.75 tomorrow. fundamentally speaking. Yen has to be kept weak for now. expecting price to hit 101.5 level before going back up. those shorting. take note.

Nice 100+ point drop a couple of minutes ago....

Short around 863 and looking to close around 500 if it is indeed going to rebound and start going bullish again

Waiting for the BOJ policy wonks is driving me bonkers ... . I'm thinking near-term lower, possibly all the way down to the daily S1 at 101.59-ish. Naturally want to see how it reacts to that level, but the movement has been so ridiculously slow and plodding ... Ugh.

I took profit at 101.71. Am unsure if it can keep going down much more today at this point..

Are you sure about that teddy? I'm waiting for it to keep dropping, a couple hundred points to at least 101.5 although I can close for a nice profit right now....

I think it's hard to say how much the anticipated lack of QE by the BOJ at this point in time is being priced into the movement here. I think what will probably be most important in influencing Yen movement will be the BOJ's statement regarding the time frame for further easing, even if they don't take substantive easing measures this time around. Additionally, and with respect to the US/JPY cross in particular, there may be some anticipation of what the FOMC is going to be doing next week (which pundits say is not going to be a heckuvalot beyond vague statements regarding when an interest rate might occur and what economic data might be used to trigger that).

In any event, a minor bounce off the 101.700 psych level ...

I'm kinda leery to take a position either way right now. I'd like to take a long position, but the moving averages and indicators are saying "no" at this level, at least on the lower time frames. Still waiting to see what happens at the S2, although it is likely to be anticlimactic. Price hung around 102 for quite a bit of time, so I thought that might be good support ('fraid not). The S2 looks like it's been fairly solid all the way back to 4/10 or so.

First target going to be 100. Then 95 no greed

JK will go for 100 then 98 on UJ
Everyone will call me dumb but I was the one who bought cable September 2013 and held to new years. I love it!

I would agree with the 101.5-ish. Is the 102.75 based on Elliott wave? Gann cycle?

'Cuz that would be a retracement all the way back to the 6/3-6/4 (kinda) double top ... . Which would really be nice ... . Assuming I entered long at, like, the S2, which is 101.59 ... . Which is what I really wanna do.

Here's how I'm attempting to talk myself into a USD/JPY long at the S2. First of all, it's the S2. Secondly, it's the confluence of two Fib levels. So, I guess it's a triple-header and would be strong resistance:

My only hesitancy surrounds how the BOJ statement will affect JPY movement, whether it's kinda priced in already, yada yada.
