Weaker Employment figure dent the AU strength. However, sustained trading below 0.9355 can negate the presence of ascending trend channel extending the downtrend towards 0.9330-25 and 0.9300 (crucial level). Break of 0.9380 can restore the up move towards 0.9400 and 0.9420 levels.

When Franky opens, Sydney closes but Tokyo is still open for 3 more hours. That might be the time for Japanese funds to ramp aussie up.

I think this move is USD weakness atm more than anything imo. I am looking for UJ to break 102 again for test of Yen strength. AJ still gaining. NU at a dangerous level, if left with a doji like candle could provide opportunity for pullback and even perhaps reversal....

I don't enjoy this time of day though... many false signals imo.

the Japanese only trade aussie, pound, euro, kiwwi. They do not trade the USD at all. They keep buying all other currencies than the USD.

the Japanese wear the same pants as the Fed to screw all other countries. The Fed and the Japanese central bank printed the most cheap money to screw everyone else.

Yeah, I normally don't get up until 3am for London open. Been getting up at 1:30 lately.

Nice chart. Yah i was looking at correlations. I was looking at the GU vs GJ. I may have been mistaken though, I missed the EU with 3 bear hrly candles. Euro seams flimsy to me of past however -is willing to please anyone. I am not real sure where the money is atm, I will wait for London before making any decisions.

Found that chart a few days ago. It helped me to understand why aussie and cable spike so much in their repesctive data release. It is the Japanese funds that spike the two currencies, usually for aussie at 9:30 pm and cable at 4:30am. If Japanese retail trade only Asian and European currencies, their banks trade mostly the same.

look at the yen pairs you will find that yen pairs follow fibs, trendlines, R/S levels much better than the currencies in UDS pairs. For example, EJ follow techs much better than EU. GJ much better than GU.

It would help explain that. I wonder how they arrive at those totals. Must have access to all the retail brokers I guess.

Agree 100% . I think it must have to do volatility. The scope of range allows for better fit.

A currency has to print. without printing unlimited money, a currency cannot beat the USD and Yen. Just rate change does not cut it.
