Its sad the thread been like this, I believe we all need to just trade TMS as we know best and honour Big E and keep his great thread alive and kicking...

I have on many occasion wanted to give up on this thread but want us all to pull together and make Big E proud!!

Thanks for the helpful advice Direwolf.
Considering the lower adr now compared to Eelfranz's trading days, is it more difficult to trade TMS successfully?

I don't have first hand experience since I haven't been trading that long.

The way I understand is that it should be about the same.

Quick example:
Good ADR = 300 pips profit 300 pips stoploss.
Bad ADR = 40 pips profit 40 pips stoploss.

I personally try to risk the same amount of $ by adjusting my lot size. So those 2 trades would make me about the same amount if they hit TP. I'll also lose the same amount if they hit SL.

The smaller pips mean spread and commission will take more from your profit tho.
Taking a 10 pips TP trade and you'll pay 30% if the pair has a spread of 3 pips.

Quite frankly seeing any chart is such a big relief right now.... you've got TDI on it....its no different to charts that have Support and Resistance Indies.

My EJ daily trade is still doing good as posted in post #38,209 which is now on added position as the 1st position already hit my TP. The next step for me is not to make the same mistake I made last week which was adding to the position on GA daily when it was to close to 200 EMA on bearish trend and reverted back on me.

The closest support I see in the current trade is Round number 138.000 which also acted as resistance back in 2009 and 200 EMA. I am open to all the comments and suggestions.

Apologies Robuk, I missed your post. The PAC is something I consider when trading on lower time frames as it is from synergy method and helps one taking more favorable trades in conservative way as opposed to BIG E's aggressive strategy (Which I respect a lot but needs experience). But, on daily charts I just keep it there and also look for other factors before taking a trade some of which are
1. PA on the left for Support and resistance
2. Round numbers (I started giving more emphasis to these in past few days as they help in picking support and resistance and also entry/exit in some cases)
3. Fib (I am still trying to figure out how to best use it but I draw it in a way that make more sense to me.)
4. 200 EMA and 100 EMA for overall trend
5. TDI (overbought, oversold and other basic indications)

Thank you for your kind words toledo FX. I still have a long way to go.

I don't have enough experience with LO candle yet, all I have in mind are what I learned from Phx62 pdf; how LO can reverse Frank candle, and how price usually set the low or hi of London session during the first 3 hours on London.

Frank fake out candle was really obvious on Monday this week on EUR pairs. This is EURJPY. White arrow were Frank candle trying to go up and London candle came back down. Yellow candle we got TDI hooking down too, would have been a nice entry.

I wasn't in the trade tho, I didn't think the market would move much due to bank holiday.

EURAUD was a bit different, it was price broken out of Asian range (yellow). After that candle closed I set pending at the while line.

taken profit on this pair (A/U) and therefore in long on this pair (E/A) with 25 pips SL. Another P/O just above last H4 high. Hoping it works out as there is a cross as well
