Thanks for taking the time to help me with this it's much appreciated.

I have had the same thoughts myself and experimented with the TDI settings before. I'll have to do some testing to see what works best.

I thought this looked like a good TMS trade , TDI X below MBL , entered on second red candle ( but was a bit late )
I lost 60 pips on this trade . any help or general comments would be appreciated [attach]144424

Two alarm bells against a short:

1. GBP NZD is in up trend
2. Large pin bar a few bars to the left

Short possible but would need to look for entry on lower time frame and target fewer pips- scratch that. Just had a look at chart on H1. No TDI entry short seen.

Thanks for your helpful reply , I entered on the M15 chart , but , as you said , there was the pin bar on the H4 and the uptrend on the daily ., also I should have stopped out sooner as the candle colour changed . Hey HO , I guess I just have to keep trying to learn .

The other thing I forgot to mention is time of day. Big E is quite specific about when he traded H4 and when he switched to H1 trades. Phx62 trades 1 hour and he often warned about fakeouts with the London Open. I don't know what time zone your chart is in, hence when your entry was, but looking at today's European and US session, I can't see any short entries on H1 nor M15. My H4 chart is different to yours (my broker uses East European time i.e. GMT +2) but there is no short entry there either.

I find it useful to follow 1-2 successful traders (eg Phx62 and of course BigE) here, pull up their charts and see why they took the trades they did, and more importantly why they skipped trades I might have taken.

My charts are GMT+ 0 and I entered the trade at 7.24 am . (8.24 London time ) I think Big E charts were GMT - 2 .
When I first studied TMS on demo I sometimes did well , but now it seems that quite often when I enter on the second candle , the price reverses ,maybe market conditions are changing or are just difficult at the moment , I'll have to have another look at BigE 's trades .

i think now is a good time to post a reminder of the ignore button. Works wonders when you only want to see certain posters on the thread. i still trade it like its laid out, with a few minor tweaks. I see no reason to stop the thread, if that happens, then it will be long lost buried beneath the other new threads.

What's up guys how had the market been treating you lately. I'm still on break and took care of some minor health issues. I will be back hopefully in a few more weeks once I have motor time to trade around the clock and soak up enough sun.

There is high impact news in an hour or so. It might push the GBP in bearish or consolidation, just my thoughts. Please see the images below for more explanation. But GN is coming back from fib 61.8 and looks like a bearish move but then look at the small bearish candles.
