Good morning all.

I wasn't expecting to find much worth trading this morning, given that the French and the Germans are on a Bank Holiday today.

However, I've just closed a nice little short on EUR-USD at 1.3616 and now am looking for another short. I don't think that I will be looking for any longs on this pair anytime soon.

Also, hoping I might find a long on cable. PA seems to be struggling to stay south of the pivot line.

Hi all, i'm new here and new on the forex (6th week) .. my first post here but i read you since the first day of my real account trading. i only trade the eur/usd. i have deposit 5k to try it one years and if i'm winning on the long term, upload more cash. ( don't worry i have a buisness and i'm not in th street ;p)

-first cause i still have my job.
-secound cause its too hard for me atm to clearly focus on many devise.

I had read a lot of book before try it. I've been reading at least 5 years on the market, but it seems that i have missed a lot of thing.

Whit the help of some of you, now i'm trading with the PP/S/R and it's made a huge difference.

I had place a few order before bed yesterday (21:00) and wanna ask if some of you think i should change something .. and when i woke up (5:00), the trade was positive but maybe it wasn't place at the right place.. ( sell at 1,66660 buy at 1,6642) all advice will be welcome, and if some of you wanna help me on the long time let me know by PM.

P.S. sorry for my english i'm a canadian french guy !!

more than twice as many Euros are traded in the UK than all the other Eurozone countries combined - London is where it's at for FX - it's UK Bank Holidays which have the biggest effect on this market

Agreed; however, other factors that effect the market such as the indexes and stocks are not been traded by the continentals, which would have some impact on the session. Meanwhile, I'm hoping that another opportunity to short this pair will happen early during the NY session. Until then, it's an early lunch at the pub for me.
