DislikedMOMENTUM PRICE SYSTEM Hi I'm using the price momentum trading system since last six month and earning from it consistently. It is very easy system and one of the successful indicator which i am using. The only Momentum Indicator. I got this idea from somewhere then mold it from time to time by keep changing and testing. I am sharing my trading system as below. Chart:Candle Stick TimeFrame: 4HR - DAILY Momentum Indicator:28 Candle bars SHORT ENTRY: Prices are usually move in the direction of momentum but if momentum leads price and then begins to...Ignored

hey muhiuddin

where are you ? are you not making money with this method, hence you stopped using it ?

I am successfully trading momentum strategy with no rule change. As I am doing job also and part time trading i have no time at moment to post trade setups on here. meanwhile you can find setups through my strict rules and money management.

I cant show you the progress in my live account as i am using other strategies too so the performance cannot be judged. but planning to trade this strategy on separate account to show progress.

Roughly i estimate that this return the ratio of 3.5-10 percents per month average with 32% draw down so far in 11 months.

When i have time I am developing other mechanical system too and refining them from time to time. You can check performance of these systems on my profile pages. Backtest was quite reasonable but i also put it into forward testing if successful i will share my knowledge.

pampaq: I have been using 4hour time frame so average trade time is about 4 days. though less time frame may some noise and larger timeframe i have not tested.

Cheers!

QuoteDislikedI believe in "Price Action Trading" system and I am using this method since last 4 years now. In this method my chart is very clean and free from many indicators. I only use EMA (21,8) and Bollinger Bands. These two indicators I use to get a clear idea about the overall trend, market behavior and for finding the points to enter a trade. However, price action means more than following this method. Here 10% is the skill and 90% is psychology. So, apart from going with the trend and using indicators, keeping the mind free from mental stress, a cool...

If you observe most renowned successful trading Analyst / Hedge Fund Managers, their strategy based on Price Action. Elliott Wave, Dow Theory, Wycoff all are Price action which applied to market psychology.
