This is just confirming one thing: Europe is the new Japan.. strong currency, low growth, lower bound breached.

Indeed, this was a big quote. Draghi sounds like a man that has fired as his bullets of a semi automatic pistol, everyone can see the pistol has expended all its ammo but he is now trying to say no no no i have more ammo.


At least in the short term I think the low is in for EUR in the 1.3480-1.3520 range. I am ramping up buying of USDTRY and USDZAR for tmrw

Food for thought for all EURUSD traders, if you made some money these last days/weeks since this dropped started, be sure to close your trades before tomorrows NFP, very possible tomorrow to have some big volatility after this news from ECB.

He does and he offered quite interesting things - i'm just waiting to read again and understand ... but i like what i hear, especially the targeted LTRO to none- financial business ( That one is a game changer) The ABS program also sound really interesting ...

Agree they are more limited due to political EZ reasons. However they still can "print". LTROs or similar fancy words are in similar fundamental space that monetary expansions is.

I predicted this move yesterday, draw a proper trendline and entered when broke. The levels in black were calculated using a method not to many people know. Is called arbitrage method. Made 100 pips on this move. Take a closer look and see how price respected all this levels. This was calculated YESTERDAY June 4th at 18:05.. The dotted line where price reversed is a weekly fibo calculation I do when the market gives me a signal that the probabilities are very high to go up or down. This combo monetary policy wil purchase bonds, it is expected highly supply euro on market.. Money supply increases inflation.. If so how can Draghi says "Inflation forecasts have been cut for 2014-2016"? I am a bit confused?
