LOL, your 1.3556 is 23.6 Fibo of my range and 1.3669 falls above the 50%, next to the UM. The astounding thing is that this range comes from the 90's, and it's valid today as shown in the chart.

That considered, EUR/USD still did have a nice move between the pivot which it is trading inside. Now the question is will we stay between this range or will it surprise everyone and shake out. Considering that EUR/USD and almost all EUR pairs moved up BEFORE this news was released, it would be safe to expect a drop in price.
EUR/USD has already bounced off of its R1 pivot with the release of the news. EUR/JPY has left a tail at its main pivot, and remember that those two pais for the last 3 hours have been highly correlated. What I find interesting is since the news EJ has stuck near the Pivot line which it bounced off of, while EUR/USD has made 1 full pivot level reversal.

The arrow shows the high created by the news. You can see EJ is still right near the pivot. While EU bounced off of the pivot and is now trading at the MR1 pivot. Should EJ stay where it is, and EU make a move upward then we should have a very nice 1 to 2 pivot level breach for EU, but as of right now it doesn't appear that it will do so.

Well, If, The news is deemed by for the US economy it is clear to see that the currency priced it in with the move upward before the news. Typically movement in almost exchange market. Now it appears the profit taking on the news has begun.

It could be but being bank holiday in Germany and France, I tend not to take the market too seriously. Retracements for earlier moves happen frequently in these conditions. US session will tell more but I have the feeling they won't be too happy.

If, on the 5m chart EU closes across 1.36178 then I would scalp buy it. As we should get a puch to 1.36395 pivot at that point. Until then don't buy it at all, as we haven't even had a green close print on the 5m tf since the news was released.
