Another interesting tidbit with this pair. It correlates at 81% with the Nikkei225 which was up about 0.7% in the past two days yet the dollar hasn't followed suit. Possible Nikkei correction back too 14000, possible correction in the SP500 after making an all time high, Treasury yields below 2.5%, all UJ negative and I think the smart money is a bit leery of buying UJ anywhere near 102. IMO, we need to visit 101.25 area before any significant move up. Good luck traders

This daily candle should be down big time. Still short from 101.88 aiming for 100.32. We'll see.

JPY has been strong for the past few days despite a strong dollar. So yeah won't be surprised if this pair drops further.

Well im hoping so! I will have a GREAT week if jpy fals below 100.75 by 3pm eastern Friday.

high correlation to U/J but more variant attracted me absolutely.
despite of a strong rebounding from 13888 several days ago,
the downtrend line on H4 still approved effective,
or even 'perfect' .

bearish,as you can see.
no other killers to me but emotion

Even with the lesser volatility UJ is coming down slowly, 101.58 becomes a good support, breaking which can lead it towards 101.30 and 101.10 level. Just my opinion.

My M15 Fibo support about to break. I`ve been entering multiple shorts along the way.

He said inflation target may take longer than 2 years so this will slow down the Yen depreciation and hence why it gained against the dollar today?

Maybe this is the result of a reducing workforce, fewer people to be fired (lower claims) and fewer people actually working (lower GDP).
