There is a high impact JPY release one day, nine hours from now. My guess (and that's all it is) is the MMs will push price back up for a Double Top sometime between Tuesday LS and Wednesday Asian session. As you can see, there are two possibilities. Frankly, if the MMs go for the upper one, they'll probably try to push the price up thru the half number while they are at it. If this happens, and is followed later with a Classic short setup, that could be a real good one to trade.

The background here is that the YEN pairs are not so strong as before. Downside has been hesitant with frequent "support", but this could just be the MM's way of using time to close longs and build up greater short positions. Time will tell.

With all the USD releases coming, a move up (to eventually create a Double Top) could fit nicely with the releases, head faking traders to go long which will assist the MMs in hiking the price and also in getting shorting liquidity on the way up.

Thanks for the correction. Because my previous broker (FxPro) used "GOLD" instead of "XAUUSD"

EURUSD:

Today the MMs quickly hiked price and spent most of the London session shorting at the higher prices enabled by liquidity provided by those traders thinking "long". Now, towards the end of the session, they hiked price a bit more to suck in holdout longs and stop out previous shorters with tight SLs. Anyway, the MMs have achieved the half number area, which has been resistance. All this on a light trading day with the US on holiday. Overall, it looks to me like the MMs that are active today are bears and just duped more longs for shorting liquidity. The H1 chart shows the bigger trend is still very much down. And a light trading day is the perfect kind of day for the MMs to manipulate prices to where they want them to advantage their position building.

sorry it was broken again. I did all what you said I think. Had to copy the old version over. Maybe its the compiler program of mt4? (ActivTrades) But don't worry, I have no intentions to start coding.

Trading Gold & LEVELs Too Tight?

Let us see line 753, the line you altered. Copy from MetaEditor and paste it to a new post, because from the looks of the errors, you simply used some wrong characters.

For anyone trading gold that is experiencing LEVELs not spread out sufficiently, you can copy/paste from here right to line 753. After you do the paste, be sure to close the gap between "XA" and "UUSD" (some errant FF text feature) , and then recompile:

if((StringSubstr(Symbol(),0,6)=="XAUUSD")||(StringSubstr(Symbol(),0,4)=="GOLD")) {Poin = 0.1;}

This is the fix that will be included in the next release of the Access Panel, which also has other modifications.

OH OK now its has worked. I tried to keep the XAUUSD for the other broker.

Ive noticed that it seems like you almost exclusively trade the gbp/jpy. I was wandering if you dont mind sharing the reason you trade that pair above others that may be more liquid?

Since this year I'm interesting so much with this pair. Many called this pair is beast. This pair has no mercy when you're wrong. Teach me a lot about not laying my trade into "hope".
Before trade exclusively with GBPJPY, I do a trade with GBPUSD and some EURUSD. But after their daily range tightened, I'm not interesting anymore. Just need some challenge I guess.
For a while, I also watch GBPAUD. Let's say that any pair GBP as a reference currency, I'm in.... I eat GBP, I talk GBP, I see GBP, and my religion is GBP(ha ha ha ). Maybe the other pair is more liquid, but I aim bigger and bigger point each trade as I can. GBPJPY accomodate that by their average range. Thus teach me to cold blooded when cut in red.... Like it so much.
Sometimes this pair teach me too, how to handle emotion. How to keep cold blooded by not jump so early? How to keep calm when MM shake the price. I know gold have the same tension, but I prefer the beast only right now
