A lot of people learned here that simplicity is possible in trading, among them, I.
You're welcome.

eyevoltage, who runs this thread uses ema13, ema34. i use ema12, ema26.
it really doesn't matter whether you use any of these or some other.
with screen time, your eyes get used to how price interacts with the ma's of your choice and that will bring forth the right ideas.

USDTRY M15 SHORT

a nice retrace after yest's down move ended with a bearish harami (encircled in red) at R1.

entry (as marked): 2.0899
exit (as marked): 2.0818 (confluence of support area coming from yest, mS1 and yest's low.)

+81

this should go down further but you wouldn't want to hold it over the weekend.

2] 104.18 -- a bull-flag spanning R1-mR1 area and b/o above R1.

both entries are marked with rising arrows.

entry after breaking the trend line where the arrow up, close the check box
the order that you see on top of 1.3656 is the old position
blue line is the trend indicator

USDTRY M15 LONG

The pair is kind again.

1] a nice support area (green band at bottom) was created above confluence of yest's low and last week's low.
2] price reverted to this area and rejected it painting a number of hammers (marked with a yellow rectangle).
3] rsi paints bullish divergence at the same time.

entry: 2.0836 (above hammers)
exit 1 : 2.0910 (near res. area coming from 23-may)

a small pullback re-tests yest's high (dashdot magenta) and R1 area. Then we see continuation northward.

exit 2: 2.0970 (near confluence of R3 and res. area coming from 22-may).

it's interesting to note that on d1 we have a bullish divergence followed by a higher low (in progress).
if the higher low comes through, we could be seeing some serious pips upwards.

After that we have 2 inverted hammers calling a reversal followed by today's upmove.
It goes well to work with context from a higher timeframe.

One more short trade on EJ. This one stopped at BE. Entry was after PA broke BRN and DP. I was waiting for PA to reach support area but it reversed back to test DP.
Hopefully this chart has better visibility.

further to post #8955, another ~ 90 pips were up for grabs, though i wasn't around to take them:

price pulled back to R1 area.
made a bullish engulfing pattern (encircled in red) providing an entry at ~ 2.0975.
it sped up to res. area coming from 21-may while rsi painted a bearish divergence calling an exit at ~ 2.1065.

GBPCAD M15 SHORT

price did an extended consolidation below the pivot.
then, moved down taking out last week's low (violet dash) and yest's low (magenta dash) providing the marked entry.
good angle and separation of ma's prompted an extended ride with s/l trailed beyond longer candles.

entry: 1.8226
exit 1: 1.8147 (near S3) (+79)

targeting 1.8095 (near sup. area from feb) for exit 2. (+131, if achieved).
