Anyone thinks that the U/J might hit 101.5 at or before London Open? Please respond quick, i`m thinking to trade now

Probably not lower than 101.213 maybe spikes down a litle bit, but scapling that might be dangerous.Instead trading the reversal up to 101.56 might be a better R:R ratio.What do u think?

Other crosses with the JPY may be the better way to go: Mind the swap, The US open may be a good opportunity to short jpy. I think jpy traces will have to show it going long a bit before I would care to venture to buy the currency. Take your profits early and often,.don't get too greedy.

Well my long term goal, sort of a swing trade is 101.9, but that may take 1 week.But for tomorrow i expect 101.5 before London Open.

So i bought yesterday at 102.2 and split the position into 2 parts. First targat is 101.5, then close half lot size and let the rest roll to 101.9

I think its a no brainer.

I think 101.70 is a key lot of stuff there be careful at 70ish

Of course, i will trail my stop if needed, but until i dont see the formed price structures on the right side i cannot decide for an early TP.Also i think it will hit 102 again, but it may be reversed early by the BOJ, thats why 101.9 is my TP.

Looking forward to 101.112 level and will be watching closely at the price action there, we could get a lot of buying as traders see nothing but dollar signs in their heads from a double bottom.

not much steam from BOJ to drive up UJ.

if this remains, UJ will be run over when euro open.

101.10 and 101.50 range is still in play.

Looks like that spike down did happen, if anyone scalped it, good job.Now lets see if that reversal happens, if not then i`m in big trouble

I'll just watch for a break of the 101.112 level and see if we can get a close above that sometime after the break before I think about entering a long. So far it looks like they suckered traders into longing and have probably stopped many of them out with this move down. Their next move maybe to sucker traders into shorting and then run the price right back up! Hopefully the market doesn't get all choppy during the BOJ Press Conference and not give a clear sign of what direction they want to move price and then take off.

Has a high possibility and I'm looking for an opportunity to long but one needs to be careful in these situations and stick to their plans. Sometimes you just got to let them go because they don't give any clear signs of which direction they are going and you never want to chase price! The news is so manipulated now a days it rarely makes sense anymore in relation to price so stick to what the charts are telling you.

I would usually agree with you m8 but lately things does not execute as they,ve intended to happen i,m also going long atm but JPY pairs acting like Japanese manga

Looks like its starting to reverse, but at this pace it will take 7-8 H1 bars to reach , so it might make it before the New York SE opens, however there is a tentative for BOJ conference which might add liquidity, so i`m concerned about this dual liquidity because it usually goes one way then quickly the opposite.

So another retest of the current level might happen before finally breaking out to 102.But first i`m concentrating on 101.5.

Also the Yellen speech at 16:30 GMT could be the trigger, we see.

But the overall sentiment is bullish anyway.

Nah, there is nothing strange about it, last week i got messed up by the pair but that was due to indiscipline.But from a technical point of view its ok.

It is behaving a bit different because its probably the most manipulated pair that ever exists, since the BOJ interventions, but that merely reverses prices from "unwanted" levels, and it leaves a trace, so clever traders can see those signs and trade off them.

The 102 level is a great example of that.

There is something weird going on in the FX market these days. FED is reducing QE, dollar is not appreciating. BoJ prints more Yen, Yen is not weakening. Other fundamentals support weaker Yen, but it is not.....

I have no advice at this time except protect your capital.

edit: I just noticed that the BoJ is directly intervening in the stock market....
