They will look totally stupid for closing at 50 pips or so of profit when they have a potential of 300 or so pips, but okay.

I think vsf just wanted to add something to this thread...and not to teach you, maybe others, who are newbies....but this is a common thing in FF, everybody think this thread is about her/him...the ego is tremendous.

Edit: and I didn't watch the video (don't even have flash player), I don't care if that looks stupid with an experienced head...the attitude is the important. This is why old traders won't gain any knowledge from new members.

Personally I think this forum is just to kill time or entertain during low volatility, and not necessarily for learning.

This is one of my favorite. Its a scalper, hes scalping the russian index.. They can see all Offers and Bids, from what I understood the orange line shows the orders placed at the bid or offer. the bigger it is the bigger are the "offers" or "bids" at that level. So they try to buy breaks, sell resistence and so on.

The tick chart shows when people are hitting the bids/offers and by how much (number inside the circles). If its red its on the bid side, if its green is on the offer side.
Then he places limit orders manually, waits for them to get filled and moves TP and SL arounds. It's really cool. Put it in 720p quality or you can't see anything that he is doing.

Notice how he puts the SL protected behind the bids in case he is long, and above the offers in case he is short. So people must first hit all those offers/bids before his SL is triggered.

you really REALLY need to stop trying to predict the future, if nothing else you will get no credit for getting it right and total abuse for wrong

True. There are times when there is a post that may make me think twice about my setup, which forces me to rethink my execution. In these cases this is good as an adjustment in risk and double checking the current enter/exit strategy may be beneficial.

Actually this forum is a great melting pot with a lot of different view/method/style/strategy/et cetera...
I can check whose view match with mine, and whose not and why. I think this is more than important.
