writer V3 is very good indicator for group pair selection, BT CS also works well, but but its depends on you what is your basic knowledge about basket system.
to play original basket system or group pairs you need at-least minimum 1 years experience with Forex.

Hi there Hukam.

Itīs not so much a question of knowledge about forex (baskets).
My BT CS works brilliantly and it allows me to trade baskets, itīs just then from the moment I got BW V3 to run it is not making many suggestions...
Sometimes Iīll have 1 or 2 currency pairs proposed for 1 timeframe. I suppose this is down to the fact that the marketīs been ranging (although I might be wrong and others DO get 4 or even more currency pairs suggested).

hi all,
not used EA for sometime due to other priorities. Here are two trades I put on this week based on the direction and TF indication from Basket writer v3. I selected the pairs my self before creating the basket. Hope others are also enjoying using this EA.

Hey everyone, hope youre all making plenty of pips. I have one question that should be simple. I've set the EA to close at the IXO2 or HAS cross, which should meant that the trade closes on the crossing of colors on either indicator correct? however, it waits and closes on the second bar everytime which is causing me to lose pips almost every time. I've had a few trades that made a lot of pips, and was all lost because the trade wasn't closed when the color crosses, but instead was closes when the direction changed, which would mean that it's waiting for the second bar of confirmation. I'm either confused as to what "crossing" means, or something isn't setup correctly. Please help, thank you.

I am having a problem. I am using the basket trading EA with my account. It buys all at the same time, 7 pairs. I do the transactions at 1200AM EST. When I put in to buy 0.02 lots for all 7 pairs it executes with no problem. All 7 orders are sent, but when I use 0.2 lots, only 2 pairs are executed. Oanda says it is the EA, not my account. Thanks.

it is only taking two of the seven pairs because your account balance is not large enough to buy all seven. I have had same with oanda. or any broker, if the funds are not there in your account then the ea and broker will only take whats available. you will either have to increase your account, increase the leverage, or lower the units to trade with on the ea.

cross = second candle will confirm change of color and will only execute a trade or close of a trade at the second candle. The third and beyond candles mean nothing with the cross settings. However, a directional setting will execute a trade or close one at the second candle and everyone after until that color changes at the second candle of the next color change. I hope that is clear and not to wordy.

There used to be many members contributing daily on this thread, but it has been very quite lately. Its like having dinner with a bunch of friends, before the food is served there is a lot of talking, but once the foods comes the talking stops, especially if the food is great. I wonder if that's the case here, are we all enjoying the meal so much that we are forgetting about the conversations that got us to this point? As for me, I'm really enjoying this EA. I believe Seller has brought us to the point of total contentment with our trading with this super EA. lets not forget where some of us came from in the evolution of the EA and continue to be there for the new guys. Hi roger,

Very well said indeed. We need to keep the conversations going even if some traders are making the pips and some may be, are loosing, still come here to share ideas as that is what has made this thread and EA a wounder to the Trading community. I have been lurking on the lines for some time but after reading your input roger, I have decided to come off the side lines and contribute along with others. This EA can only be made better by us the users by contributing our ideas. All the best all and lest keep this thread and EA alive!!
