You assume that the pair will continue to fall. Why? I will like to know your reasons.

I see in the chart that we are in a fifth wave, which, in turn, is another fifth wave of higher degree. And right there, the volume increases dramatically, transactions multiply.

What does this mean? Of course, does not mean that the smart money is opening shorts.
No. They buy cheap and sell expensive.

I do not know if the smart money will test the bears. If there are enough bears, the price will drop a bit more.

No need to apologize. I never said the whole, half, and quarter numbers were indefinite. i was saying that they are more likely to be used as support/resistance than our traditional pivot points. A clear misunderstanding

Yup, I've been using higher TF's for my setup's. i can see classic patterns and make more educated entry's with ease. I understand what you mean. I find scouts on the lower TF's that are invalidated by a bigger move so therefore i stopped looking for them. After jumping into a one hour time frame, i found more valid setup's, so i'll be working my trades that way. Over time we have to find our own edge and work it within the guidelines of the Sonic R. System.

By the way, taking advantage of the post, you can put the decimal in fifth place.

Correct repsaj, your explanation inline with mine. To continue downward, MM needs to push price upward. That's time, will be perfect time to build position, while going long temporarily until targeted area. I put some area where the stop place. In bigger picture, that's what I mean push north until 2nd big 00. On long, I wait classic formation on smaller tf, maybe h1, or m30. On short, I build like order flow trade, simply pick a level, with a proper money management. I do play the price swing, while I watch like eagle on the spot where commonly limit bid placed. Sorry for my english repsaj, it's not my native language.

How I trade the Sonic R. classic / scout system:

Recently in a few posts between loeil and TAH, was discussed the need to be able to take into consideration the 'background' and from the larger picture be able to determine when the optimal times for taking entrys on the M15 have arisen. This post is a showcase of what I personally do before considering a trade via the Classic and Scout entries we've all by now come so familiar with.

Personally, I begin off looking at the DAILY charts of the pairs I'm interesting in trading. To help me do this I am greeted with the following start-up screen to help me be able to do this with ease:

When pulling up a chart, lets just say E/U for example I have drawn what I personally consider to be key support + resistance zones that price tends to bounce between:

These zones are universally used by all traders as they tend to keep a sharp-eye on them, so marking them out to be aware of where they are is an important process in all trading in my honest opinion.
Note: I like to draw my support + resistance zones rounded up to the nearest 1/4, 1/2, 1/1 number. You'd be surprised by how many times these zones can be found at these exact levels. This should come to as no surprise however to those of us who realise the importance of these numbers.
Next up is the identifying potential worthy trades to take given by in large from a birds-eye view. I do this by waiting for the classical "Secret of Sonic R." scenario to take place. What this involves is waiting for a DAILY hammer pinbar before looking for going long on the M15 and a DAILY doji pinpar before going short on the M15.
..As we can see this is what we have occurring at the moment:

From here we can conclude that looking for potential longs supported by PVSRA would give us a nice opportunity:
As we can see, we have a formed classic on the M15 that did eventuate before being contained back below the 1.37 area before market close.

We can also see that the basis for such a classic is supported by things such as higher volumes at the lows denoting the most interesting is occurring at the lows therefore meaning the MM's are building longs.
This exact PVSRA study we apply on the M15 can and should be applied to other TF's as well to get an overall view of market activity. It is deadly in my opinion to only be looking at the M15 and not looking at the other TF's as this can lead to getting into a trade at the wrong time increasing the rate of our respective drawdown.

The hourly chart in my view is more accurate than the H4 since it is universal and doesn't have misleading or distorted signals due to broker time zone difference. By applying this PVSRA study on this chart we can see much of the same as we were seeing on the M15. When such a view can be formed where the same analysis on the range of timeframes available can lead to the same answer, often this synchronized view is telling us the market situation more accurately.
You can also see price on the H1 has nearly completed a respective classic formation set up and if so would be part of an inverse head and shoulders pattern. This is something that we as traders should be aware of. Note: The H&S pattern is the only trading pattern I tend to look at as it has a classic Sonic R. approach integrated within it.

I hope this post helps some people realise just what is involved in checking the background before entering trades! The main message I am trying to get out there is analyse the higher TF's before considering any entry!

I have reconsidered my earlier analysis and have omitted an important resistance before "target 2" (see chart).
Therefore rectified, and I will study the price action when it comes to "target 1."
And not forgetting that the price can go lower before seeking "target 1" or "target 2".
For me, the direct attack on "target 2" is what is greater chance.
