It already broke below the range it was in since januari on the daily. 200 ema is the first target i think. But MUCH more selling to come IMO

Hi, USDJPY traders.

Recently Japanese Yen is fluctuating between 101~104.

Although Japanese Government is trying to boost their economy environments
Yen is not easily softened as the Japanese 'AHBE' regime is intending to do.
My sincere recommendation for your USDJPY position is to have SELL position.
Every time the YEN is crawling to 102 YEN you got to sell it .
Even US dollar is going to be harder,
YEN would still be within the range between 102~105.

I believe the sell position for this currency pair would work
thru this summer,
Sooner or later I ll feed another update of my strategy for this currency pair.

Looks like the market is done for the week. There won't be much PA for the rest of the afternoon except maybe a bit more movement towards the cut-off time.

Will be lucky if this pair moves to 101.3X.

if this maintains above 101.3x then next week should be long week for UJ.

There has been a ton of good news but porbally ukraine news has been pushing the USD low. It could though drop even lower

The way I see it, this pair is being pulled by two main opposing forces newswise and major econ. numbers aside, Ukraine crisis and BoJ's QQE policy and this pair's PA is always going to be the reflection of the jousting match between the two forces unless all of sudden JPY is no longer touted as a "safety currency" anymore then in that case, the PA would be solely determined by the BoJ's monetary policy and its magnitude. From the last Monetary Policy statement, BoJ is committing itself to QQE in order to reach its goal of obtaining a 2% inflation rate in 2 years which is a goal that BoJ believes Japan is well on track to obtain and Japan's economy is steadily improving as of right now. Kuroda stated further that there would be further adjustment made from time to time IF warranted but so far I assume that there is no additional adjustment needed while BoJ continues on its course of QQE, i.e. printing money.

So that leaves the Ukraine crisis which is a bit of wild card. Aside from those, besides the major econo. numbers like the US NFP, FOMC decisions, this pair's PA will always be a humdrum 1 pip up-1 pip down movement that REALLY requires a LOT of Zen to watch.

Forexia....I'm incline to agree with you. I mainly trade Geppy but the jpy pairs generally travel together.
I think it's range time for a while. I don't see any major moves up or down beyond the highs/lows of the year.
It almost seems Kuruda is comfortable at this point in time.

Let's see if the 101.00 level will hold next week.

Over the last 9 weeks, the pair couldn't close below 101.50 level. Also , Friday was an Inside Bar. I Think This will translate to Bullish movement next week. However, it may test 101.20 (or 101.00) first.

seems like support.....seems many are short at a major support......the only way Id short at these levels is if we had A SUBSTANTIAL BREAK lower then a retest of this area.....
