Hi Repsaj, thanks for the nice and detailed explaination with analysis. It seems that the market has halted just above the 1.37 level with a bullish hammer all indicating that a bullish wave is going to come, whether it could be part of a retracement of the existing bullish trend or continuation to break through Draghi's sensitive 1.4000 limit. I appreciate your suggestion and well let's see how's the market going to react next week ^^

Not really. Candles show reaction at price levels. They are not just price. A series candles show patterns. The trace of patterns shows complete trading psychology around price levels

candles like any technical tools are a subject interpretation of the representation of mass psychology, being able to interpret those tools and make money out of it is an art form….not only that, big ball also are required in terms of tenacity and money management

best way to make money is around greed and fear, candles can help you to see where those emotions are placed.

I don't trade with a crystal ball, I follow direction of the charts...

I trade off of an M1 chart, much the same reason that I code M1 traders...it is a world that I am comfortable trading. In like a lamb, out like a lion.

what you get from the price is the first hand information, what you get from candle is price reaction over time, your second hand information or your confirmation.

Price approached your price zone where you like to place your entry, that's your first signal or triggering signal. when you are at the price level, in short, you buy on bull candle and sell on bear candle towards the direction you originally intended, these candles are you confirmation signal.

does this make sense?

Whether or not the entry signal is correct or wrong is not important to me, the priority is to have a good risk management like most successful traders do and to trade with a higher probability setup. I do not mind if my trade ends up hitting my SL, what I'm trying to highlight is that everybody has right to share their trade ideas here. The more ideas we can have, the more fun this interactive trading section would be, isn't it? Wishing all FF traders good luck =)

before I go to sleep I need to answer your this question. Because you are a scapler as you have claimed, price or level is not your first hand information. You scalp, you will need PA first, you will need to know where price is going to move immediately. You will need to know PA first, you will need to know candle pattern first. You would not care what price it is, you just care where it is going to move immediately.

I, on the other hand, swing most of the time, I pay attention to level first, pattern or PA second.

If you are fulling committed with TA and candle, you should have no problem pin point out where your target and stop levels might be. NOT AT ALL. that's not crystal ball, that's technical analysis 101.

You don;t know what you average trade time is. That only tell me how confident you are in your system. that's 0. when you sell your system (if ever you meet this day) to someone, your client will ask you how much time he needed to run your system in order to profit. your "<---------------------->" answer is not gonna cut it.

telling me "<---------------------->" as your average hold time indicate you hold your position until it profits. In general, that's a fail system because it lacks a exit strategy. Every winning system should know its limit on hold time.

Already been there son...I make more trading for myself than did trading for others. If you ever make it here, you will understand what I am saying.
