Unless the broker suffix is set as suggested, the EA will not create offline charts.

whay you buy there? in my view price its to far from HAS, and i dont see a fresh signal from ixo..?or you buy on h4 signal? in that case you must have a biger stop loss..
if trading in m15, wait for retracement, price must to test HAS coz its far, and after retracement, wait for signal ixo..then enter..

Why did I buy ?
Although there was no fresh IXO signal, I bought on the H4 signal. I put a tight S/L because I was closely monitoring the basket.
Manually closed the basket a couple of minutes ago, just short of 100 pips profit.

Hello!
I have just started basket trading with the EA. I have installed it in the VPS and it works pretty well. I have a full time job, so it is almost impossible for me to be in front of the computer checking the Basket Trader or the Basker Writer. I noticed that the best basket for automated trading is JPY7. I am using the suggested configuration of 2-4-2-1- Ixo 1 660 and Ixo 2 960. I use Ixo 2 cross to get out of the trade. I noticed that while it is easy for the EA to get in a good trade, it might be hard to get out before having a loss. I also noticed that the EA and the Basket Writer can be very profitable for manual trading.
Do you guys have any suggested settings to get out of a trade? Do you use a take profit option? how many pips? Which other baskets have worked for you for automated trading besides JPY7?? Any suggestion for automated trading??

HELP! The offline chart will not update on the VPS using Windows server 2008, but when I try on my home computer running Windows 7 it is fine? Any suggestions? Using the same account, template etc. Maybe the settings? Both are on the C: drive, not in program file.

About BT_CS...
After some weeks and more than 300 trades here are the results:
-In short term, it doesn't work at all (38% of the trades successful)
-In long term, it works 86% of the trades. So you have to see the "big picture".
I have traded in M15 with the settings HAS= 2,6,2,3 IXO1=540 IXO2=900. The SL used has been 40 pips per pair and the same TP (1:1 RR).
Just traded when all indicator have been in agreement.
Average time of trades: 15.2 hours
Best hour to calculate the basket: 10 p.m./11 p.m. GMT (just at the end of the American session)
Worst hours: 9 a.m/ 5 p.m GMT (I suppose it is caused by the volatility during the European and American session)
There weren't significant differences between the S and the C baskets, all of them works in the same way.
As seller9 said some pages ago, the sensation was that you were always late and when you put your trade it went instantly against you. Seeing the "big picture" I noticed that with the BT_CS my entries were often in a retracement (sometimes very big retracement) and that's why it seems you're losing in the "small picture". I would like to use supply and demand zones to enter in a better way and don't have to support so much drawdown.(Hukam please help!!)
On the other side, mikeimas go on!! I think your way of trading with Basket Writer is very promising. Please, keep us informed.
And, as always, thanks to seller9 for all the hard work and these wonderful trading tools.

Regards.
Casyopea.

Casyopea - by long term you mean 1H, 4H or Daily?
ES Trader mentioned in his basket thread that he found 1D TF as the most reliable

I've been using M15 timeframe.
What I mean with long-term or short-term is the time you're going to stay in the trade (sorry, my mistake) if you want to use BT_CS to scalp, for example, it is not going to work correctly. That's what I was trying to say.

Hi all,

I noticed that during the whole week, my Basket Writer V3 suggested virtually no pairs to trade.
At most, I had one or 2 pairs in only 1 timeframe.

Playing around and lowering the trigger values from -0.8 and 0.8 to -0.4 and 0.4 got me far more pairs on more timeframes.
Is it me, or have you guys been staring at empty baskets as well ???

Has anybody traded baskets on changed values ???

Many thanks for your feedback.
