If these romours are correct and the russians want to keep the euro strong. We saw the rise of euro during the rise of Ukrania conflict.

Why do the russians want a strong euro? To damage USA? The oil and gas is measured in USD

Is more like: they don't want to have so much USD on balance sheets, trying to avoid any potential sanctions and being more independent from USA.
But again this is just my point of view.

No they are afraid of account freezes hence feel safer in Euro Zone
Their biggest investing center is London.

Sorry man I only come here to flip out when big moves happen lol . Your right looking at the daily this area would be the prime area for a correction. I should have looked at it before yoloing into a short at the intraday 38.2 fib.

Lesson learned - will brain next time

4 lots LONG from 1.36758, now closed good daily profit.
Have some smaller long more 1 in green two in red, my target is 1.374ish
I am happy because I closed my shorts too early from the 1.39-ish region but now its ok.

if one is bearish, norm was at 3709, thats where i start usually.. if your analysis agrees. one could s with a 3731 stop. i took this trade s 3710 on one account. just in case we are in the 1876 b/o sequence

there is no logic in going up. probably it is reacting to drop in bond yields. i suspect it will come back to 3680 soon. lot of money has come to short this in the morning. don't think they will allow a free rise from here.
