I believe EU R is going lower. I haven't seen EUR bought up past approximately 35% in over a year it seems. There has been a fundamental shift in sentiment.

anybody else seing usd is gaining value across other currencies? Dont think its all about weak eur please. We should see 1.35xx so far but it resisted well I closed my positions. i have no more hope for 1.35xx. USD did very well but I think it will not go further. Just my opinion!

Look at the weekly, I bet 2013 October after that massive bearish candle this whole forum was peeping its going to 1.30 or 1.20. Nope stuck with the trend as it broke resistance and that acted as support and continued higher. New years, big fake out everyone again same thing. March again. Now May again we have moved into a range more so than anything else. Doesnt mean it still wont go higher. On average probability is much higher that trend will continue than trying to predict a top or bottom.

This looks like an ideal buying time to me as we are coming off a well respected level and yes price did get smashed lower because also look what we are going into! If anyone has ever traded EURUSD much you know it moves in a very volatile fashion, not huge moves like JPY crosses or trend like GBPUSD or AUSUSD but one that makes nice waves and follows more to the technical side of things.

Just saying! I know if it does push down quite a bit the ego's will of course be there and sputter their magnificance. Just wanted to provide a longer term perspective though more than anything else!

SO what I will do though as price does retrace some, is I will be shorting any rallys so if price does decide to fall lower I can cover my ass a tiny bit.

Headlines that failed to rally euro up but should:

* Bundesbank sources say it is not new that we are ready when needed to take monetary policy action
* No tendency of deflation (ZEW reports)
* ECB's Draghi's wording about being "comfortable to act next time" was not agreed upon by governing council - German press
* ECB's Nowotny says too early to speculate over June action
They are pilling up

Other intersting headlines:
There’s chatter that heavy US dollar sales at custodian banks have dried up.
EURUSD – UBS saw selling from asset managers, hedge funds and corporate clients; EUR was net sold overall
EURUSD: Turnover below average; bias 52% in favor of selling

After the wave of US data tomorrow and thursday is over, euro will have bottom out. We are very close to the bottom, one more push down and thats it.
