There has been a lot of activity around 1.3680 level and that was the recent monthly low. I'm thinking that the price will go up a few pips to around 1.381 and then come down to test the previous months low and high activity zone of ~1.3680. From there we will have to see what the indicators are saying but I'm thinking it will go back up to test the previous high around 1.3960. I am bearish on EU at the moment for this week, meaning I am looking to short once price hits 1.381.

YOu can use all the deductive reasoning to justify buying! One thing remains true... If you were buying as it was dropping, then you are in RED as of right now. That is an underlining fact which will remain true. Instead of respecting price action, you decide to use News as your guide to take a position. Well enjoy the color red. The scalpers will scalp, and earn more pips as you continue to type your fingers away as to why EUR/USD bulls are stupid for selling.

I wonder why so many people ignore daily pivots. Those are the true resistance and support levels. They do change daily, yet the prices always bounce/ accumulate from these prices. The past support and resistance levels which everyone highlights in their post, were actually pivots within that day of trading. You can see that EU started trading from the MS1 pivot 1.37510 and since then it has not touched another. The market is clearly without much volume today, and it isn't even worth looking it. It's worse then looking at paint dry. Take your past resistance and support levels, and throw them out the window. They are worthless at this point guys.

Hey all hope everyone is in the green!!!
It's been awhile since I've posted and I may be moving on from FX as I've been doing really well trading Nasdaq and Dow futures as the Euro has been slow. Anyone else move or thinking of moving on??

Not moved, as i trade a wide range of asset classes, but i agree, for me anyway the SP500 has been particular good... pretty much been buying all dips on 1 hr TF, still holding long with a VWAP position from 1862.00 with target 1900 and 1910.00 - These positions are nicely in profit and i have a stop in place just under 1875.00

I have no idea why anyone would move from forex. Why not trade another pair..... Maybe one that has a bigger daily range.

Or better yet, just add more pairs as you say but also other asset classes, Diversifying your portfolio, limiting your risk but also expanding your trading arsenal.

Your equity curve shows that you have to believe in past support and resistance and you just cannot throw them out of window.
The following capture is your equity curve. See how support and resistance work nicely? Pay attention to the support and resistance line. Also pay attention to the double top pattern. If you paid attention to the double top, you would have avoided the breaking of the support and the following tanking of your money.

there is more then one way to skin a cat. if your system works for you that is great. i dont use the pivots like you recommended usually. and dont have a bad thing to say about what works for you. i looked for 3751 and did not see it here, http://www.actionforex.com/markets/p...2010040848154/ using several tf.. i do see it on something i was using Friday. my chart friday was posted was wrong as rocky pointed out. i placed a bad % in the auto calc. rocky was on top of that, and posted when his and mine did not match up, on that single line. that line is the 3751 level, i posted 3755. anyway rocky had 3751 as soon as 3992.x was printed in real time. i should have but had the wrong variable in my system.. 3746 is much older, when we paused at 3965 it seems to have awakened 3746.

if bullish like some are here. 3746 may be support. from here to 3965 is half way to the other side of 4185, just above last years indicated target at 4146..
if one is bearish, a bounce is never known. but if we are going to bounce. this was a good place to do it. and 3885 is normal. if its a strong bear.. it may not get as high... either way i will go with both the bull wish list and the bear normal and figure i can short from higher.. i can use mid points and sub mid points to 3965/3745 like 3854 3811 etc

the 3965 one is 6 years old. in that sequence in 3745... just below is where last year closed at 3743... give this a "ish" for wiggle room
