Next month will see the level of money printing from ECB

i believe the eurusd will go off the cliff, however the big Q is how translate billions to pips.

M and W are long
Daily and H4 are short. ADX is still strong on H4.

Hi all

I decided to go on holidays for a while and completely disconnect from what's happening in the news and in the financial markets in general. I think it's very healthy to do that every so often.

Anyway, I see I haven't missed much.

Anybody care to share some analysis with me. I feel a bit out of sync with the markets.
Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it

Thanks for your input Jimmy.

From what I gather, we're still set for some more risk-on trading, but it's going to be a tough grind.

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) for me, I no longer follow any time frame lower than 4 hours. I tried and I did okay, but it's not worth the time invested for the return I received. So, I have to look at mostly the daily, weekly and monthly charts.

Based on that, we are certainly soon due for a major correction, and when that happens and it's done, then crude and all the commodity currencies (AUD, CAD etc) and the general risk currencies (EUR & GBP) will fly back up so high, they will have nose bleeds. But first a correction. So when will that happen?

Timing for me has always been my Achilles heel, so I will not try to speculate on that, but risk appetite that is still around is starting to get nervous and is likely to start taking profits at some point soon. The market makers and fundamental traders have already started taking their profits, but the tech traders keep buying until the charts tell them otherwise... which has yet to happen. When it all comes together, we get the major correction I am longing for.

Till then, I very cautiously re-adjust some of my long risk positions and start putting in some small sells on knee jerk rallies... but as I said, very cautiously.

PT great to see you are back!

I see EURUSD can correct all the way to 1.3480 and if it does reach these levels i will start buying heavily.

I also must admit that i am holding underwater longs already, and i was hoping during this sell off that we would see a bounce close to the 1.38 levels so that i could unload and join in on the shorts to the above level i stated, till ow has not happened and does not look like it will till well after the next ECB and if it happens. I think we range between 1.3550 and 1.3630 till ECB

I don't like pointing out where a bottom or a top maybe but i will wait a Failure Swing on either a daily or 4HR and shall follow.

can anyone explain oanda quote 10 yrs bond note price as for ex 126.43? what exatly it mean? is that mean prices are at premium? in term of yield how one understand it? thanks in advance.

Good question Doc. 100 is face value (not including the yield). Add the compounded yield over 10 years and you come up with a figure greater than 100. The exact figure would depend on the yield at issue. However, let's say that it's 130.00. So if you were to buy it now at 126.43 that means that your yield will be 130.00 - 126.43 = 3.57 if you hold till maturity.
Compare that to someone that bought it at issue at 100.00, if they hold to maturity, they would get the full 30.00

below 2 charts, my dead end before a retracement is weekly fib. price has gone far without proper retracement.
relative currency strengh is rising on CHF, GBP and EUR.
