From my ECB scenario (note, focus has now shifted to 1.3850)

To sum up, I would feel stronger about my scenario if the EURUSD headed into the ECB meeting on a soft rather than a strong note as it would indicate some EUR shorts were setup into the press conference. The firmer EURUSD suggests otherwise and price action has raised the risks on both sides (run at 1.40 vs. failure to reach it) so keep an eye on 1.3950 on the upside (followed by 1.3967) as that will dictate whether the market has the firepower to go after 1.40.

usd/chf is looking nervous for further gains. I think we have bottomed out on the euro for the day. usd/chf next imp level is 8812 then comess 8850. don't see those coming

Ok mr Max doom. If they don't please post charts which reveal otherwise. I called it on AU, and the same thing happened on EU today. Look at all the market moving PR'S and look at the trend 24 hours before the news. Of course to get a good idea you should look at 15m tf... AU was dropping, and booom big spike up.... EU was increasing and boom big move down. Samething for AU right before NFP. Before NFP the price was dropping steadly and after NFP 200+ pip plus reversal. What I'll do is create a thread which proves it. As most traders here say "NO IT DOESN'T/YES IT DOES" without providing any evidence to support it.

you don't seem to understand.... I don't need to post anything you are the one making the claim but your example is merely today's events.... I have been trading for over 20 years and I can assure you that your claim of ALWAYS is simply wrong.....

If he truly took that short, then he played it well. Although his reason may of been different from others the reality is shorting against the trend (in this case up trend) before news is always a smart bet. How much sense does it make that before a news released the price increased 100 pips, and when the news is released it spikes more in that direction. Never heard the saying "Buy on rumor, sell on news"

I won't get into a pissing match with you. You can CLAIM to have traded for 20 years, or CLAIM that it DOESN'T work, but until you actually prove it with charts then your only claiming. Have a nice day.

looks overdone max. think we may head a bit higher which is good for future shorts. 1.3895 is what I feel
