Im a contrarian... i have entered long on this pair albeit with a small position to start building if we go higher.... if we go lower i will buy again around 1.3850 and i will stop and close with loss if we break 1.3790...

Yeah it's always good fun in this forum, trading is a bit of a .. solitary, stare at the screen, sort of living. Gotta have somewhere to poke and read now and then.

UJ breaking 101 is going to be tough, we spent so long building up to break into the 100s they're not going to give it up easily, you can see already we've spent weeks and weeks now just grinding against this support here. Any pop lower imo will be to drag in weak hands, scare people out, the question then is will that provide acceleration or are the big banks going to buy all they can get at such a discount. I view it as a buying opportunity personally.

EJ is going to chop the shit out of anyone involved, the tug of war between JPY/EUR/USD .. but bigger picture I would like to see 140s broken, 138 perhaps for the same reasons as UJ.

p.s. the current bouncing around is right on the lower end of the same channel I mentioned earlier .. if anyone is buying, or covering shorts, this is the place to look first .. a retracement of sorts could be expected, then you see what flows come in and whether they tip the balance from retracement to outright reversal, or if it continues the sell move.


edit update: The area held for about 15 minutes then pop, that is a strong bear sign to me, it was good for a scalp of 10~ pips but never materialised to a retrace. Good for anyone holding their shorts, hourly close coming up.

10 pips would have turned this place into a silent grave yard it has been ... well, we will see! I was listening to the meeting and he said nothing about possible intervention in the exchange rate. He said as i recalled , If inflation continue to run below and affect enegry prices - the exchange rate is a serious concern! But, i will wait for the statement and see exactly what he said ...

I think he said if high Euro continues to be an issue they will address it next June meeting
