It is impossible to comment on others leverage without knowing their strategies.
Eg. say someone had a 98% win rate but with high risk. They may lose 20% of an account with two loses in one week but the following 4 weeks they have no loses and gained 40%. Fair strategy? It is all relative and any strategy that can pull money from the market is a good one imo.

By saying this I'm not intending to take sides or enter any arguments and I do believe the forex market needs to be treated like an investment (0.5-4% risk). For this to take place however I also believe a 50K+ account is needed unless people are young and have a spare 10 years up their sleeve to build it to that level. That is where high risk strategies come into play to gain the initial capital needed to make it become an investment.

Just my 2cents worth.

look if you are looking at the retail figures of short and long side which I presume forexfactory is showing then it means shit. retail are just 2% of the market. having said that by your own logic just because 80% are short markets will go down does not make sense. when euro was at 1.28 couple of years back the ratio was in favour of the short side and euro still went down. yesterday nzd shorts were 80% and longs were 20% so by your own logic again kiwi must have gone to 0.88 look where it is.

How long do you think it takes the average trader to make a 100% gain on an account keeping risk at the advised levels? If a person started with say $5000 to get to $50 000 that is a 1000% gain, of course compounding makes it easier toward the end but it will take some serious trading imo. Now do the same rewards if you started with $50k.

I looked at your explorer and its obvious you are over trading -102pip -$800 is overkill on 4k account.
I have 12 positions on EU all red and total net is less then -500 dollars and my account is lot bigger then yours.
When you advise someone to take a loss I wonder why you let yours to get to -800 -102pips

FXRAT reporting for duty

Risk off theme in Asia last night with the nikky down quite strong
and JPY strength.
euro and cable both off course been quite bullish now since NFP.
Out of my trades now and won't enter until the London exchange
opens 8am GMT.

Euro looking vulnerable at the moment hence why I'm not still
long but certainly wouldn't consider trading until after London
open

The Euro (1.3925) has broken over 1.3900 and hit a high of 1.3951 in this way. Keep an eye if ECB takes some venture close to 1.4000-50 yet a tear over 1.4050 might open the way to tremendous upside targets.

You are correct I did not see your previous post but you are obviously using lot sizes that don't fit with your account size.
102pips equaling 800 loss or gain is simply over trading.
Just trying to help but you are welcome to dismiss my observation.Its a marathon not a sprint. Getting back from 800 loss is tough because now you are way close to your margin.
This effects traders psychology.Same 25pip spike does nothing to me but to you it could be hair pulling agonizing predicament that may force you take a loss and it could be just a fake.
Lot size effects all aspect of trading.From exit to profit taking.
If you don't have a plan work on one.Figure lot size SL trading style etc.Sort of have business plan and this helps overcoming market fluctuations better.
