Good about not being too fussed either way....unlike some people... who depending on the outcome... eiither run around the block doing an Indian dance..... or pull their hair out... not naming any names lol...

The epitome of a noobie mistake! Probably shouldn't have been in the trade anyway as it was entered 2 hours before Euro news. Gave it a 50 pip SL but it started to pull back so lost my nerve because of the news and moved the SL much closer. A picture tells a thousand words and the rest is history! Just hit my TP which makes it a tad worse lol. {image}
No update from "2pm", I did not close my trades as by "H4 TMS" rules. My SL held easily, I double checked the setups and PA, zoomed out and checked S/R. Both still looked sound (even though counter-trend D1). I left them for the US open. Closed AUDCAD at BE (didn't look good. greed management
), left NZDCAD for 15 pips - it looked better and it looked like a beginning of a bounce forming.
Setups seemed ok at 6am, but there was consolidation and CAD news - I might have simply got lucky with the news and I hate the feeling of luck rather than correct analysis :/
I'll monitor NZDCAD, I wonder if the bounce will continue.

I have a new way of trading now though, I am on H1 and go in when H1 crosses the mbl as long as the h4 tdi has started to move up or down when I take it. So far so good. - #37,007

Glad I'm not the only one I got them back plus another 30 odd on EC and GJ tonight so not too disappointed but it really is my weak point right now. I did exactly the same on EC last night which was even worse, got up this morning and saw price had surfed down the MA to the tune of 155pips which hurts a bit but it's all part of the learning curve. Tomorrow's another fight!

My day trade EC cost me -55. I watched it go from a good profit. I must have had a brain snap. Have laso now realised that news on any time period is a key factor.
There were no London trades for me.
Today I am long on NU and considering short on EN

Reading your post reminded me of somethign I've observed from back-testing. I hope you don't mind me explaining it a little bit more to you (as its not a BigE style chart template) but here's an example I found on the EC a while back. As we trade the daily, the whipsaws can be bigger especially at times of consolidation in the market, to minimise the occurrences of entering at these times the MBL can tell us a lot. I Understand that you traded this around news releases but it also coincided with what I've observed back-testing so I figured I might shine a little light on it for anyone trading the Daily time-frame.
