yeah at the point when I was asking I didnt expect the UJ to go past 102.5x.

I shorted 102.6x down almost 30 pips.

I figured so! guess its only respect you didnt share your trades with everyone, anyways, I am still short. Put my last order in today at 102.50 which got filled. Still looking weak on the bear side, but if anything we are trading in a range so there is no real direction here. Good luck to you, wish you pips!

Maybe they have a trader's almanac equivalent? If I could trade hindsight like some of these people seem to I'd be very rich.

It seems that there is no direction no trends in the market anymore, unless there is news. No matter what side you take, it will always go against you at first and then you have to hold down to your positions forever, paying swaps and tying up your capital and eventually it goes into your favour. It's pathetic. It's like you just need to close your eyes and flip a coin. No need for technical analysis, no need for fundamental analysis.

Long currently in CADJPY. Considering how close USD and CAD are, if CADJPY is going up, USDJPY usually follows suit.

It got back to 102.31 before moving back up..........so either it breaks 102.70 soo or back to 102.16-102.33 area, but it will break 102.70 at least how I see it.

The charts show no interest above 102.6 but they continue to try even after getting smacked down at 102.7 after great us data. Im actually posting from cellphone in class . Listening to presentations. Possible tripple top on 4hr and still in down channel on dailly.

From my POV, we are facing a clear uptrend to 104.500 area, earlier this year we had few announcements from BOJ Promising to stabilize the FX rates, which i understand it as hidden interventions that can be shown clear in this stable movement yet slow uptrend. after reaching 104.500 it will come down to 101.700 zone again.
i recommend going long now, on H4 frame MA is crossing uptrend with targets 103.500 and 104.500 stop loss at 101.200, Yes that huge but money management is our only option.

Meh we have halted and consolidated pretty much on weekly chart, when and if we will continue to resume upwards thats up to the forex gods.
